I have recently started getting this error on all of my forum posts:
Warning: call_user_func_array() expects parameter 1 to be a valid callback, function ‘publish_topics’ not found or invalid function name in …/wp-includes/class-wp-hook.php on line 287
Am using WordPress 5.4.1, Buddypress 6.0.0, bbPress 2.6.5, and PHP 7.1.33 .
At first I thought it had to do with the most recent updates to bbPress, but after checking on the bbPress support forum, I tried deactivating the **bbPress Do Shortcodes** plugin and the error went away. If I try activating the error comes back. Could you look into this?

Do SC on it’s own seems dangerous without some filtering precautions and the code clearly exists already… Just needs someone with a couple of hours and some coding skills.

Please update this plugin so it works with the latest wordpress. I have read multiple articles that recommend your plugin!

]]>Great idea though for me, I allow anonymous posting. This sort of functionality would certainly need some level of user permission control over who is allowed to use shortcodes. Nice contribution though. BbPress needs some extensibility.
