is there any option to hide the subforums in the mail forum page? I can find an option to remove the counts of the subforums, but not the hide them completely.

]]>The WP version has just been updated to 6.7j.
The word ‘forum’ in the dashboard menus has been replaced from Japanese to English, and all the Japanese display is now in English, even on forums created with bbpress.
I am getting the following error message for some posts/topics.

Recently upgraded my bbp-style-pack from 6.1.1 to 6.1.2 and I have noticed that the Show Dash Icons option no longer shows dash icons instead of the normal Topics / Posts description.
This option did work with bbp-style-pack 6.1.1 so hopefully a minor fix required for the next release.
FWIW: I have rolled back to 6.1.1 and have linked below to image of issue with dash icons to hopefully provide a point of reference

]]>Is this something you can help with? I am trying to make it look and feel exactly like its phpBB for my logged in Members through Paid Membership Pro. I saw that they (phpBB) don’t have any development or ready to go compatibility with sharing a login token from PMP logged in users to phpBB. I think your plugin is the best way to do it. Can you help or offer consulting?
]]>No matter what I do, I cant get the breadcrumbs to appear. I’ve gone into the BREADCRUMBS Tab and played around with various options, but nothing works.
I’m not sure if it’s an issue with the bbPress plugin or the bbp Style Pack plugin, but nothing seems to work. It could just be I have something checked incorrectly, but the ppPress plugin settings don’t seem to allow for much customization, so I don’t see where it could be caused from there.

Your Kadence compatibility fix also works like a charm for 99% of the issues with Kadence & bbPress.
My problem however is: When I go to the search page (or search results for that matter) of bbpress (so not the forum search, which I want to keep separate), then the (bbpress) search page renders in the most annoying way possible.
It will render one of the two side bar’s on the right, it will show a title header but not the background I have setup using the Kadence Customizer. And I’m unfortunately not able to disable the sidebar either because to make it go away, I would actually have to to go to customizer, then on archives turn off the sidebar (NOT in the bbpress options for kadence), which will result in not having the (needed) sidebar in the blog post archive either anymore.
The Title header (with image) I’m not able to setup at all?????♀?
Do you have ANY tip on how I could make/force Kadence to just use the same layout/template as for the forum index or the topic (pages)?
Something like: add_filter, do_action, remove_filter() or what ever?
I have a highly customized website, with child theme, already tried to run the plain (parent) kadence, tried figuring out how and where kadence is determining how to display which templates for (dynamic?) pages like bbpress etc… And it’s been 3 days wasted of searching through both the kadence and bbpress files, and I really hope I’m just overlooking a ‘simple call’ like “Register template” is you understand what I mean.
Hope you have a solution or idea on how I can make kadence use the normal forum template for the bbpress search results ??
OR if that is really messed up so to speak, if you know a way how to override the entire search url of bbpress so I could for example make my own page for it (would not be a problem for me either).

I did a plugin conflict testing and found that when bbp style pack plugin is active, a topic under a forum is returning an error.

If you click on them, the editor window opens, but nothing happens when saving. The installed FSE theme (. My forum index shortcode “[bbp-forum-link]” displays forum title, along with stats, example: Forum Title (9, 0). Can your plugin remove those stats, so only title remains?

Recently discovered that users aren’t getting the bbpress emails when someone uses the @mentions or uses the “reply” button on thier individual posts.
My undersatnding is if one poster desires to repond to someone’s post or wishes to enage with them if they use either one of the two aforesaid feature then the said someone will be notified. Well, they aren’t getting the emails.
Any suggestions on how to fix this? Perhaps there is a feature in the plugin i can use? Thanks

I’m having the following issue:
When a user clicks a link to a forum comment that they receive in an email, and they are not logged in, it is taking them to our designated login page:

But, after that, they go to the landing page they would normally be taken to after a regular login (i.e. not from a bbpress email).
In order to resolve this, I have to disable this in the WishList plugin:

But doing that creates a major problem with all of the other redirects that WishList does. I spent several hours with their team today. They said to please reach out to you to see if there’s a fix so that Wishlist can handle all other redirects outside of the ones from the bbStylepack Email Subscription links.

Good afternoon, first of all, thank you Robin for the useful tool you provide us with.
A few weeks ago I installed it and made some minor changes in bbpress, in terms of colors and fonts.
What I noticed, was a strange cpu usage bug (Only happens to me in Edge and Chrome, I guess browsers with Chromium, in Firefox it doesn’t happen) when for example, I try to resize the window/tab of any content (either Learndash or Woocommerce) that lists posts.
Examples

The cpu of the tab goes to 100%, and does not perform the resize/responsive that it should show. Simply, the tab hangs and you have to force it to close.
By deactivating your plugin, the problem disappears.
I used Chrome’s developer tools to perform a performance profiling.
I identified that functions like requestAnimationFrame, getPropertyValue, and style are consuming a significant amount of CPU resources.
The script most involved is load-scripts.php which loads several scripts combined, including jquery-core, jquery-migrate, etc.
I don’t know if anyone else has had this happen, but I look forward to helping or seeing what might be triggering this.

]]>Today I updated bbPress to version 2.6.11. I found that [bsp-moderation-pending] shortcode has now not only listed those topics/replies required moderation but listed EVERY single topic/reply.
I checked with my clone site (still using version 2.6.9) and the shortcode is working perfectly.

I am writing to report an issue I have encountered with the forum roles functionality in the bbPress Style Pack. Until recently, the custom roles I had set for Keymaster and other roles were displaying correctly. However, earlier today, these roles suddenly reverted to the default ones.
To troubleshoot the issue, I updated the plugin to the latest version tonight, but unfortunately, this did not resolve the problem. The custom roles are still not being recognized, and the default roles remain in place.
Could you please provide assistance in resolving this issue? Any guidance or support you can offer would be greatly appreciated.

I’m trying to use the GamiPress plugin for my website. I am attempting to create a Point Type. Every time I try to create a Point Type and click “add new point awards”, for example, I choose “Log in to website”, and after filling in all the details, I click “Save All Point Rewards”. When I click update, the data within the “Automatic Point Awards” tab that I had selected, such as “Log in to website”, all disappears. And after checking, it seems there is a conflict with the BBP Style Pack plugin. And Some Hook like reply topic and like some topic or comment it’s not get Point , if i disable Plugin BBP Style Pack , and try to comment and like just get points . Any solution for this?

]]>When I change the header or the footer of the website, it’s not syned properly with the bbPress forum page, which means the header still remains the state before I changed it. I assume this is a problem with FSE theme support and “However try this if your header does not display correctly eg is out of line or has wrong font sizes etc.” option in Page display options. I wanted to discuss the possibility of enhancing the BBCode feature of the bbPress Style Pack. Specifically, I’d love to see buttons added for the following functionalities:
- Add Image: A button to easily insert images.
- Add Video: A button for embedding videos.
- Add Emoji: A button for adding emojis.
- Text Color: A button to change text color.
These additions would greatly improve the user experience by making it more intuitive and versatile. I’ve attached an example image to illustrate what I have in mind.

We have noticed what I think is one small error. When we use this plugin subscribe a user to a Topic the emails are not being sent.
I have used the ‘Sent test email’ and selected ‘Send a test topic email’ which does not send an email. The ‘Send test reply email’ does work.
Do you have suggestions on what I might be doing wrong in the setup? Or is this a known issue.
