Hi there – the plugin works well as far as I can tell, except for one instance when it is trying to display a field that is multi-select.

So instead of showing just Profile Field, it shows a:1:{i:0;s:11:"Profile Field";}.

Is there anything we can do to remove the extra characters on either side? Thanks!

1) Can you update one more option?
“Display in autho page” for all post type & buddypress profile

So i can use this shortcode to add to anywhere such as widget or in top of post/post type.

By the way user can send any messaged that they wanted to visiter, not limited for topic and reply only.

2) Where to display? Let user choose. Not admin setting. Example:
Admin of website: They just wanted display text real name and position of staff in topic & reply. buddypress and autho (which post they created page)
Member: They may wanted display in buddypress only. OR someone wanted display in topic & reply only. OR even none of theme wanted this feature (Defaul you given hidden if empty will be set, no need setting for heavy code. Because surely 100% no info should not display)

Nothing. I can’t make it work. It does not show Xprofile fields in the members directory as expected.

The description says the added fields display under the authors name and avatar in topics and replies. In fact they display only in replies. Looking at the display.php file it appears they never displayed under the topic author.

I edited the file by duplicating the function, renaming it and replacing the two instances of reply_author with topic_author. Now it works as advertised.

I found a problem with the field display when a multiple selection option is used (checkboxes, multi select box): it looks like it spits out the IDs or something along with the item. For example, if I select two options for a field, I get something like a:2:{i:0;s:9:”my_option1″;i:1;s:11:”my_option2″;} instead of “my_option1, my_option2” under the user name in bbPress. Looks fine for single selection options (radio buttons, drop down select). Makes no difference whether or not labels are shown.

Can this be fixed?

Why does the label show when the user has not filled out that field in buddypress? There should be a condition to where it only shows if filled out

the plugin pulls the wrong data from some profile fields and does not link them.

I used xprofile advanced fields to add a custom post type field of mediapress galleries.
If i show this on the front end using this plugin it just shows the mediagallery ID and no link. I was hoping it would show a link to the gallery

Howdy! This plugin was very fun to play with, but I’m testing out new forums and I’ve deactivated it. The fields are still showing in my member’s profiles, and I’m a little hesitant to delete the plugin, because I’m concerned this might be a warning that it will leave changes to my database.

I am pretty much a newb when it comes to the mechanics of plugins, so I just need to know it’s ok to delete it, or what I should do from here?
