Hi A have diffrent products, some woocommerce appointment, settings virtuell, working fine, But then a have variable subscriptions products. At every variant you can set virtuell product. So for appointment product it works fine but not for the variable subscriptions products. Some idea?

I’ve got several thousand spam FAQ questions/answers (not regular comments). Will this plugin work the same way to delete them?

I have installed this plugin on a site I am working on, and have over 84,000 spam comments to delete. I want to ensure that the site does not go down. Without making any adjustments, please confirm if I hit “Empty Spam” the batch process will start, that my site will remain functional, and that I will have the ability to keep working on it. thanks

Hi,

I have installed the plugin and try to delete about 60,000 spam comments, but it always times out (which is what WP originally does, too, which is why I installed this plugin). Each time, I get rid of 100-200 comments or so. I have tried limiting the batch size to 10 using the method in the FAQ, but the result is the same. Any idea of what might be wrong? I’m running the latest version of WP and just installed the plugin.

Hi there – I just used your plugin to remove thousands of spam messages (which is great, thanks!), but they don’t appear to have been removed from my WP database.

I am currently using WP 4.0.1, but was on 4.0 when I used your plugin.

In my WordPress Dashboard it says I have no spam comments, but my WP database is still showing the same size as it was before I deleted the spam…

Is there a delay between deleting in WP and the database updating? Or can you suggest a solution to update my database?

Just read about this plugin in a WP Beginner article…I recently recovered an old WordPress site I’m trying to update from v3.4 that had no anti-spam set up. So it’s got several thousand spam comments, but not marked as spam. I’ve been trying to change the number displayed and then just check the column to move to spam – but the page’s basically get stuck. In short, having a hell of a time.

To get to the point – do you think this could also be modified to either mark as spam or delete directly from comments? If not, happen to know of something that might help?

Hey there!

I updated to the latest (1.0.3) version of the plugin and now I’m getting an error when attempting to empty spam:
Fatal error: Using $this when not in object context in [snip]/wp-content/plugins/batch-comment-spam-deletion/batch-comment-spam-deletion.php on line 155
This just shows up in place of the usual count-up of comments deleted. Afraid I don’t know enough PHP to be able to fully diagnose the issue- any idea what could be causing this? I do have a handful of other plugins running but they shouldn’t have anything to do with the backend.

Hello Pippin, nice to meet you and nice plugin. Worked like a charm to delete hundred of spam comments. Anyway wanted to make you notice that when you browse the Trash in the Comments screen, the Empty Trash button disappear when your plugin is active. The button appear again after deactivating the plugin.
Not a bug that make my life a pain, but you may wish to fix it.

WP says our blog currently has 151,520 Spam comments. I installed & activated this plugin. Empty Spam button appears there on /wp-admin/edit-comments.php & when I click it it goes to /wp-admin/edit-comments.php?page=pw-bcpd-process & after a couple seconds redirects back and says all comments were deleted, but then I go back to Spam section and it still shows the same gigantic number (3,031 pages with 50 spam comments per page)

Am I doing something wrong, or missing something?
