It worked great for two days, then two of my four sites I have it installed on experienced a heavy memory usage which took my sites offline for 6 hours before I realized it.
After debuging with my host it turned out to be this plugin which resulted in a 325 GB, that’s right GIGABIT error log text file.

Well – I am pretty impressed
This managed to spot a ‘hacker’ nibbling away at WP-cron.php and I managed to effectively ban them where ‘All in one WP security’ and other plugins did not spot anything going on at all!
However what would make this even better, would be the ability to set a white list from certain countries or just allow the spiders through. I have had to ban the USA as the main culprit for nefarious activities – but has the unwanted side-effect of banning most of the popular spiders such as Google & Bing etc. I have seen the bots IP addresses published on the net so they could possibly be ‘hard wired’ in as exclusions?
Secondly, I have quite a few other incoming problems from the domain EU – which although detected correctly, does not allow me to ban from the drop down as it is not mentioned in there…
Hopefully you will manage to fit these into the plugin – I eagerly await the next update ??

The editor to change the message for blocked countries won’t save. It just tries to save the one above it. Had to edit that manually in the file. Other then that, thanks for the plugin.
