This really is such a great plugin. I have been looking for something like this for sometime. I am able to add in video’s explain how things work add instructions for clients for most parts of the back end.
This will save me so much time. I love the way I can export the data via xml which I am hoping to repeat on other websites via this method of import and export.
A great plugin after looking into the configuration options this really works well and the documentation and instructions provided is very helpful. Have just embedded video’s mp4’s links and guides all from a handy drop down instruction tab which is so helpful.
Many thanks for such a great plugin.

This is a fantastic way to provide instructions to clients in the backend and I’m glad someone thought of creating it! It works great but here are some of my gripes with it, which are either missing or not easy enough to find:
All in all I love the plugin though, and thanks for making it! Now I don’t have to set up alert links in my functions file.

I installed this and added an instruction page for my editors. Selected “Editor” as the user level and my editors can’t see it.

Easy to use, and it’s a great idea to add instructions to the existing help tabs on the correct pages.

I’ve only just started giving this plugin a go, so my experience is limited, but so far it looks very promising!
My only gripe being that the Page Name area is pretty confusing initially. It would be great to make this area a little more intuitive.
This is a solid little plugin that works very well. Hopefully I can return with a more in-depth review when I get a little more experience with it under my belt, see if I can bump up my review to a full 5-star ??
Cheers!

Shelly,
Very nice job! I think I will use this when I want to put some instructions up in the Help tab.
I’ll admit that I was baffled at first by the “Page Name” designation, until I found the fine print in the instructions about using part of the desired admin URL. I don’t have a better name suggestion, though. Maybe something like a tooltip around that spot would help.
“Big up” for making shortcodes work! The first time I tried another well-regarded help plugin, I was in need of displaying shortcodes in my instructions. Nowadays I’m a bit smarter and would have known to maybe filter that Custom Post Type, use a character, etc., but it’s great that it works immediately on yours.
Thanks very much for your good work!
Dave
PS:
I found your plugin in a very roundabout way. I was reading a web hosting review on WPMU, and your response was hilarious! I actually have 2 contenders that could give Godaddy a run for their money, or even beat them, at rottenness, believe it or not! iPage and Dotster.
