The plug-in is unavailable for almost two months I really wonder why, why is there no information and the biggest question: is it still safe?

I’m using the widget in german. Most of the words are correctly translated, but there are some strings missing. E.g. today there is “light rain” shown in english, not german. And there is no translation string when I try to translate it in Loco Translate.

Is there a filter to completely hide de loader. I can remove the icon with this function:

However, is still shows the semi-transparent loader background. Is there a way to remove all of it?

I’ve added api and looked up my town location code, but the weather is not showing any data at all. Please advise.

The widget only load when I am using Elementor.
If that is not happening the wdget show how the loading animation.

Hello,

How do I change the look of the ‘Extended Forecast’ link in either the shortcode or the widget?

It is currently white and hard to see on some backgrounds. I found this:

Hello,

When setting the forecast number of days it only works up to 5 days. If you select a larger number then no days are displayed.

Any ideas on how to make this work for 7 or 10 days?

Also, is there a Pro version of this plugin that might offer more features or customization?

Nice plugin but it loads slowly. anyway for the next update to fixing the loading speed of the widget? I like the design, but when you go to the webpage on the left-hand side it loads slowly and make it to load instantly instead of having to wait.

Ahh you know, this was such a great plugin – and working fine until today… I’ve deleted and re-installed the plugin, tried to configure in the side bar – but the plugin no longer connects to the database to look up location (you just get a constant turning wheel) and so you can’t configure it – and it no longer appears in the sidebar.

Any chance the developer could kindly look into this? Without doubt, this is (was) the best weather plugin on WP and it will be sad if it is not going to be updated..

I am using plugin for 1 month and it’s great, but today stoped working – not any updates.

I get an error notice: curl error 60: ssl certificate problem: certificate has expired.

But this site doesn’t have SSL certificate – from beigining…it yesterday normaly.

Pls check and let me know.

I’ve tried different themes, actually the “material” – problem is that the forecast starts with the same day like the actual, but shows different temperatures.
For example, today is WED 27, May – the actual upper box shows this date & actual weather, but in the forecast row the first day is WED again, but having a different temperature – I think it should be THU! So all following days (I use the 5-day forecast) having wrong weekdays.

Additional this weekdays abbreviations of the forecast are not translated – the actual is in German (de) but not the forecast!

What could be wrong? Thanks for feedback in advance.

Updated to 3.0.2 of Awesome Weather Widget and the custom backgrounds are no longer displaying even though that option is checked in the widget. My site was also just updated to WP 5.4.1. I am able to get a default background to show but cannot get any of the ones contained within my image folder to show. I have placed the directory in my theme’s folder and even tried replacing it in your plugin’s img folder. Nothing has resolved the issue. I found the issue doesn’t resolve until I roll back to version 2.0 (in case that helps to know)

Thanks for an excellent plugin! A quick question, I wanted to create a custom template, but couldn’t get it to load the awe-custom.php file from the expected location until I placed it in the actual theme’s directory instead of my child theme directory.

I know there’s a “fix” for this that allows me to set a “custom location” for the template(s), but shouldn’t the plugin look in the child theme directory first, and then the actual theme’s directory?

This may, of course, be a matter of opinion. So feel free to ignore this “request”.

This is a great plugin! My wind speeds are returning as m/s. Is there a shortcode attribute to convert that to mph? I am not using the widget, but instead using the shortcode in my theme. Thanks!

My plugin won’t translate at all when logged in, and the is only translated partially in Incognito.

I don’t see why it would not translate correctly to English, the English translation can’t possibly be incomplete.
