I installed and activated the plugin.
I’ve watched a tutorial, but the plugin isn’t responding as expected when I enter the date (nothing happens) or try to add an image (nothing happens). I think the categories are added though, but no way of knowing.
I have been searching all over the internet for a plugin that has a filterable gallery and a lightbox. You are the only free one I found.
I’ve been struggling for a month now, trying to find something else (free plugins, templates…) but none of them seems to offer both filters and lightbox.
I don’t want to go for premium because i don’t need any other features.

I would be grateful if someone could help me here

After clicking an image we need the image to automatically resize so the photo can easily be viewed on any device. Right now large images remain large and can not be properly viewed.

Hi,

I’d like to know if it’s possible, once you click on the thumbnail and it appears the popup, to have a gallery inside there, instead of a single image. That would be very useful for showing a project that needs more than one pic to be fully described.

It is only possible to order the categories in alphabetical order or not.

I can’t speak for others but whenever I come across a plugin page without a demo link, I close the window and seek another plugin.

After updating WP to 4.5.2 and plugin to version 1.9.5, the plugin stopped working. Portfolio items disappeared and adding a new one did nothing. Categories disappeared and adding new ones do nothing. Old portfolio items are still visible on website, but can’t be managed.

I am currently on WordPress version 4.5.1 and after activating the Awesome Filterable Portfolio it does not appear on the menu in wordpress. have deactivated and reactivated, have logged out and back in. still not there.
Am I missing something obvious or is there a known issue?

Hi,
I’d like to use this for my website but before installing and revolutionize the whole site I’d need to ask three questions as I need three mandatory features:

1. Does this plugin organize the thumbnails of the works as tiled patterns? If not is it possible to achieve it using other plugins together with this one?
2. Once cliched on a thumbnail does the browser open popup window or goes to an orther page? I really need it to go to an other page and not just open a popup window with a bigger version of the image just clicked.
3. If the plugin allow you to click and go to an other page, does the page support the usage of multiple images and multiple videos? Sometime portfolios templates and plugins just allow you to publish single images or single videos.

1) How can i limit the display of the portfolio items, lets say home page only 12 items to be display

2) how can i display active category as default, lets say i have 4 category but while loading i want to display with active of 3rd category so rest of all the images will not display and user can manually select the category what he wants to see

I’m having trouble getting this plugin to be responsive. When I get down to 1200px all the images bunch up and overlap each other. Not sure if you still provide support for this plugin. Has anyone been able to get this plugin responsive or am I doing something wrong?

I’m having trouble centering the portfolio because it’s not contained. I’ve tried centering the column it’s in, and ul afp filter/ul afp items. I’ve even tried centering the entire page.

I configure my WP instances with separate content and WP folders (using the WP_SITEURL and WP_CONTENT_URL constants). But all the links in this plugin are using bloginfo(‘url’) instead of site_url(), so it’s not usable in this setup.

Would be ideal to add some space to separate the categories headings from the images on the portfolio page. Please consider adding the bottom padding to lift the categories “off” the images in afp-style.css during your next update. Thanks.

Is there a way to change the date format from mm/dd/yyyy to dd/mm/yyyy?

I have created portfolio items and filled in the description box.

When I click the thumbnail not all of the text is displayed. Is this field limited in length? Is there a way to make it display all of the text from the description field?

Hi,

Admin can add or remove portfolio using the plug in, but editor level users cannot see the AFP link in left menu and add, delete, manage categories. Is there any way to remedy this without installing another plug in?
