Recently purchased the paid version and it works great as a regular shortcode in pages/posts, but I’d really like to embed it directly into my theme. Normally I’ve had great success putting shortcodes into a theme using the following format:

<?php echo do_shortcode(‘[ava_video 1 /]’); ?>

But this doesn’t work with Ava Video shortcodes for some reason(it just spits out the text [ava_video 1 /] )..

Anyone else tried this or had any luck?

I don’t mind reduced functionality in a free version of a product but obnoxious ‘test version’ or ‘go here to buy the real version’ banners are just plain tacky. Nice looking plug-in.. won’t use it though.
