]]>Hello,
I have a simple site that’s been around for over 15 years and was listed on Bing for that whole time.
I installed the The SEO Network plugin a ways back and I noticed recently that my site was dropped from Bing (which also means Yahoo and DuckDuckGo). I’m not sure exactly when it was dumped because I don’t check my Bing rankings often. When I went and looked at my logs it seemed they may have dumped me not too long after I installed this plugin. Is there any known issues with Bing having an issue with SEO plugins? I’ve contacted them several times and they won’t give me a specific reason as to why my site was dropped. My site does well on other search engines. Any suggestions would be great.
Thanks.

I have been using SEO Framework for over a month now. However, I have found that the sitemap.xml is not listing all of my pages and posts. I have thousands of posts but it’s hardly listing around 268 links. Can you please hele what I am getting wrong?
Here is the sitemap link https://lifeandexperience.com/sitemap.xml

AHREFS audit is reporting this and they comment “For search engines to crawl and index a page, it needs to be included in a single sitemap. If a page appears in more than one sitemap, it’s not necessarily a problem, but may indicate a bug with the sitemaps setup on your website.”
Looking for advice on this.
]]>Hi,
I have a question regarding social media image settings.
In The SEO Framework settings, there is a section called “Homepage settings”, and there is a tab called social networks. Here I can set the social media image.
Under it, there is another section, “Meta social settings” – and at the bottom of it there is also settings for social media image.
I tried to research, but I couldn’t find any good explanation – are these two settings for social media image the same thing? Or what is the difference?
I wasn’t sure, so I set the same image in both of these options. It works well on Facebook. But I wonder one thing – when my website is linked in a post, it uses rectangular format, which is fine – the one I set is okay. But when my website is shared in a comment, it uses square format of the image – so my set image is cropped in the middle, and that doesn’t look good. Is there any solution for this? Could one of the said options in settings resolve this?
Thanks for any help
]]>Added sitemap not working – google can’t download it. I tested on several pages and it’s the same everywhere.
I disabled the security plugin, but it doesn’t change anything. Only the sitemap is not able to be downloaded by google – for Bing there is no problem. But google does not download it.

Hello,
I can read on your site: “TSF v5.0 added breadcrumbs to every post, page, term, and archive. These are outputted for search engines via structured data, but you can also output them directly on your site via a shortcode.”
> Does this mean that output them on the site adds nothing in terms of SEO? If you do it, it’s only for the users?
Tks a lot

]]>On our WordPress website with a custom theme, we use the the_seo_framework_custom_field_description
filter to dynamically set a custom meta description. This works as expected in the HTML output, with the custom description appearing correctly.
However, the custom meta description does not display in the WordPress UI, specifically in the SEO settings under “Meta Description.” This makes it difficult to view or adjust the current description directly in the WordPress editor.
Expected Behavior: We would like the custom meta description, set via the_seo_framework_custom_field_description
, to appear in the WordPress UI within the SEO settings for each post or page, allowing us to view and edit the description directly within the editor.
Steps to Reproduce:
the_seo_framework_custom_field_description
filter to set a custom meta description.I am having all my links clicked by bots and even selecting Under Attack mode in Cloudflare doesnt control it. So I found a plug that has a high rating and supposed to help with this. Blackhole for Bad Bots, they require to modify the robots.txt file, but since SEO Framework is managing this file, I am afriad to do anything with it, so asking for your advice.
my site is called buyandsellgoldbullion.com. When I look at content of robots file in the blogs filedirectory i see this content:
Begin Attracta SEO Tools Sitemap. Do not remove
sitemap: https://cdn.attracta.com/sitemap/2415510.xml.gz End Attracta SEO Tools Sitemap. Do not remove Begin Attracta SEO Tools Sitemap. Do not remove
sitemap: https://cdn.attracta.com/sitemap/2415510.xml.gz End Attracta SEO Tools Sitemap. Do not remove
inside settings of seo framework, when i click under sitemap settings, when i click view basic sitemap, this is what I see now.

User-agent: *
Disallow: /wp-admin/
Allow: /wp-admin/admin-ajax.php
Sitemap: https://buyandsellgoldbullion.com/sitemap.xml
https://buyandsellgoldbullion.com/robots.txt
question is whether using this plugin can cause any kind of conflict working with your plugin and is my robots file functioning properly. this site seems unaffected, but im not sure about seo.
And if you have any suggestions about blocking bots, the pls share.
hopefully, there is no problem, i just thought I would run this buy you, since your plugin manages robots file and this plugin requires the modification. so long as no problem, great. i hope it does what it says to block bots. the plugin has a 5 star rating.
Thanks for your feedback and insight.

I activated Yoast SEO Framework at the same time and then deactivated Yoast so that only SEO Framework is activated. The monitor states that “The?robots.txt file is not handled by The SEO Framework.”
Is there an easy way to force the SEO Frameworks Robots file to be live? It might help to have the option to reset the Robots file in the Robots section of the settings or something that forces the SEO Frameworks Robots file to be live when switching from another plugin to SEO Framework.
I’ve noticed this problem before when testing other SEO plugins. I can’t figure out how to force the SEO Framework Robots file. I tried resetting the settings, and that did not work. I tried deactivating and reactivating the plugin, and that did not work either.

]]>Hello,
My breadcrumb is adding an extra “archive” page that redirects to the homepage. I am trying to troubleshoot where my breadcrumb issue would come from.
MyProof > Gestion des données sensibles par secteur
https://my-proof.com/secteurs/
https://my-proof.com/secteurs/incubateurs/
MyProof > Archives : Industries > Gestion des données sensibles par secteur > acteurs de la R&D et de l’Innovation
Could the issue come from the fact the Voxel CPT key is “secteurs”, and the page “Gestion des données sensibles par secteur” has also “secteurs” as slug ?
Any hints to solve this would be appreciated.
Thank you!

I would like to report a bug related to the sitemap URLs declared in the robots.txt file when using The SEO Framework in combination with Polylang.
On my test site, the sitemap section in the robots.txt file looks like this:
Sitemap: https://app.local/en/sitemap.xml
Sitemap: https://app.local/en/fr/sitemap.xml
The first URL is correct, but the second one includes two language codes (/en/fr/), while it should only show /fr/. The proper URL should be:
Sitemap: https://app.local/fr/sitemap.xml
Could you please investigate this issue?
Thank you!

I can see that AI Power plugin has integrated to your plugin. Maybe integrate back so that AI assist is available directly in the SEO Settings container. A simple button that will check post type, content already written, the field it might replace. Understand SEO length of Title and Meta Description alongside with a Add and Replace button.
Point is fast workflow. If empty then simply create what it suggests…
