]]>Hi guys!
I got an error when I tried to regenerate my certificates using this setup:
WordPress Version: 6.5.4
Auto-Install Free SSL version: 4.0.0
PHP Version: 8.2.18
The log of the email said:
E_ERROR in line 58 of /home2/XXX/public_html/wp-content/plugins/auto-install-free-ssl/FreeSSLAuto/src/Controller.php.
Message error: Uncaught TypeError: in_array(): Argument #2 ($haystack) must be of type array, null given in /home2/XXXX/public_html/wp-content/plugins/auto-install-free-ssl/FreeSSLAuto/src/Controller.php:58
I saw that that line was added in version 4.0 and I was able to regenerate the certificates without problem downgrading and using Auto-Install Free SSL version 3.6.10.
It will be great if you can fix this issue.
Thanks for the plugin.
Hello,
I am trying to configure HTTPS but I got an error:

The website is running on wordpress and the domain is hosted on eurodns (https://www.stras.lu)
Does someone can share some instructions to fix it?
Thank you in advance!

I have been using auto-install ssl for a while now with no issues, however this week for some reason something has happened and now when the plugin generates the certificate it is already expired. I’m trying to incorporate the change you recommended
Our plugin has issued an SSL certificate for your website. So we strongly recommend the following security precautions:
1. Change your cPanel password.
2. Go to the ‘cPanel settings’ page of Auto-Install Free SSL (Premium), provide the changed cPanel password and submit.
There is no Cpanel settings in Auto Install Free SSl (Premium) plugin. Please advise.

Auto_Install Free SSL seems to be working okay except for the inability to update it.
Hi,
Since I set the plugin up, it emails me every day to activate Force HTTPS, but I’m already using a different plugin (Really Simple SSL) to manage that.
Is there a way to disable these emails, or alternatively, if I do activate HTTPS via both plugins, could it cause any issues? (I’d prefer to keep using Really Simple because of its more detailed options and checks.)
Thanks!
]]>hi
I have just installed you plugin on my website, and it is not showing Cpanel and exclude Domain information
See here: https://www.screencast.com/t/umJbFzYJ496
This is the third website on the same server, and I have had no issues on the previous installations.
]]>In my case the cause of this problem was that I had a domain that was redirecting to another domain. The domain that was being redirected exceeded a rate limit of pending authorizations. This caused all other SSL Cert requests to fail for all other domains. To fix the problem I removed the redirect and manually requested new SSL Certs for all domains. For now I have excluded the domain that is being redirected, but that will cause a problem for that http redirect without an SSL Cert because of the way Google enforces SSL. The most logical approach is to deal with the Google SSL headache while the redirected domain is excluded in the AutoSSL plugin to allow enough time to pass in order to allow the Let’s Encrypt rate limit to fall into a limit, which does not exceed the rate limit. So I can then request a new SSL Cert for the domain that is being redirected.

Also, I do not understand the difference between the two plugins that you offer.
After install, i was kicked out of the dashboard. Upon investigation, I found the admin email address for the site had been changed to [email protected]. This has been corrected now, but i found the Woocommerce emails have all been changed to send to this email address as well. I’m concerned about this. Where is have email addresses been changed?
]]>The renewal script fails and has the following error message:

]]>Hi,

]]>First off, thank you for your awesome plugin! Has been a huge help to me by not having to manually deal with SSL Certificates.
I ran into a problem where I was not able to get a new SSL Cert for 1 subdomain site.
The error message was:
3rd and Final Internal Validation: Payload content (xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx) does not match the content of https://api.ait-pro.com/.well-known/acme-challenge/xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx. Either api.ait-pro.com is not pointed to this server or unavailable over HTTP due to some server-side issue. Please fix this issue and try again.
The cause of the problem was that the api subdomain has an .htaccess file in that folder and the AutoSSL plugin htaccess code was being added to that .htaccess file, which caused the AutoSSL plugin to be blocked (403 Forbidden error) from continuing to process the SSL Certificate request. .pem and .csr files were not created under my SSL Cert folder in my hosting account.
The solution was to temporarily rename the /public_html/api/.htaccess file and then request a new SSL Certificate. Everything completed normally after that. So the simple solution would be to ensure that the AutoSSL htaccess code is only added in the .well-known folder instead of any other existing .htaccess files.
Thanks again for an awesome plugin!

/public_html/api
/public_html/api/.htaccess
/public_html/api/.well-known
/public_html/api/.well-known/acme-challenge

Hello
I notice this ssl works on main domain and addon domain.
How do i install it on a subdomain directory like https://www.abcd.com/edfg
Hello!
I installed this plugin on one of my websites on shared hosting which gave me the option to include all of them, which I did. One of them, however, still had an SSL through Namecheap that was not expired. That SSL has now expired and a new SSL through this plugin was not generated. I am guessing this is because it will not do this until it is time to generate a new one in several months.
How do I get an SSL for the website before the renew dates of the others?
