Sorry, this looks like a great plugin but I can’t get the text ‘Read more […]’ to link to the full story.
After activating the plugin it installs the ‘Read more’ at the break but it is not clickable.
I’m using the Musica theme at https://kopatheme.com/demo/musica-free-wordpress-theme/
Anyone have any idea how to fix this? It’s otherwise a nice theme and a potentially great plugin.

This plugin does everything I’m looking for, but the new excerpt appears on my site missing the paragraphs tags that are typically added around my excerpts (without the plugin). The effect is that the font is styled completely different.

So, my question is, is there a way to add <p> </p> tags around the excerpt by modding the code? Or is there a CSS fix to this problem?

It seems to remove all HTML formatting from the posts. Removal of HTML formatting is fine for RSS Feed, but it is NOT OK to remove HTML for blog pages or any other pages that the plugin is excerpting on. Would it be possible to provide an option keep HTML formatting and any HTML generated by short-codes as an option (if possible 2 separate options) ?
This way the plugin would behave exactly like the <more> tag which I don’t want to use.

]]>Hello, Great plugin. Its perfect, except 1 thing. Setting “Excerpt Length” = 0 (Zero) causes the plugin to use default length of 500. This may be intentional but I need 0 to be equal to Zero not default 500. You can have it default 500 when Excerpt Length is negative like “-1”.
I need to set the “Excerpt Length” = 0 (Zero) so that on my Blog page (its a Media blog of image galleries) the only thing shown is my “Read More Text” or “Button Link” or “Nothing” with post linked via Titles. I have a website that has only Galleries and in order to show a dozen galleries on the Blog page, I do NOT want all those high resolution images downloaded on the Blog page, especially when the site is visited on a Mobile phone where the network speeds can be slower.

At the bottom of the excerpts ‘Read More’ is displaying correctly but it is plain text rather than a link to the full length article.

I am having an issue though where it is stripping the default paragraph tags on posts on the front page where the auto excerpt is applied. Is there any way to stop it from doing this?
The problem, is I’ve set line-height, margin, etc. declarations for the paragraph tag, so when your plugin strips them, my layout gets jacked.

Most of the post on my site are closed to “comments” from visitors/users.
Though the plugin has served my purpose, it simply adds the “Sorry, the comment form is closed at this time.” at the end of every post when the full post is viewed.
I do not wish to display this “Sorry, the comment form is closed at this time.” comment.
Any way i can get this comment off?
