To start off, I must also say “right on!” for working on this plugin. I see this as being very useful to many people and agree with what the others have said about recommendations.
I was just wanting to point out that I had to remove the H variables from the CSS file because activating the plugin would cause things like my logo to center vs being aligned to the left. I could have gone through the whole plugin renaming stuff, but I simply removed H1, H4 and H5 from the file and all went back to normal. Maybe replace those with something more unique to avoid conflicts ??
Take care.
]]>Hope the developer is still around. I have a few suggestions:
1. Pagination is essential. Currently, old messages are being buried.
2. For the “Roles Granted Access”, please GET all the default and custom roles in a list that the user can select by holding shift (to select more than one). This way, the user can select which roles they want to add. Note that most of us who run multiple author platforms use custom roles…
3. Performance is essential:
-> Add option to use a textarea box instead of TinyMCE.
-> Pagination (again!)
-> Add option to disable the Dashboard widget.
-> Optimisation of queries.
Nonetheless, this is a stellar plugin and I sincerely hope that you will consider to continue develop it and not let it vanish like some other plugins.
]]>Seems that the plugin does not support other language (such as Chinese character) , the message does not show up normally in dashboard, all the characters appear as question marks.
I love this plugin and I really hope I could use it for my multi-authors website, is it possible for this plugin supports other language such as Chinese?
Thank you very much.
]]>Hi Brandon,
thanks for your plugin. It is nice and small ??
I just have got 2 things I miss right now. Can you maybe integrate
a) that the names of the authors are displayed in the message
b) to see the messages on the admin dashboard.
c) to edit / delete the messages
Thanks =)
