I love this plugin. The only thing I would like it to do is add a hyperlink next to the song that is playing to link to information about the song or band.
Currently the plugin shows a play button followed by the Achor Text as the title of the song. I would like to be able to hyperlink the Anchor Text.

Any hope of getting audiobar to work with the pagelines DMS theme? The theme has some kind of really early hook during the template header, executing before audiobar loads its template redirect. In effect, I get the theme’s header in the outside audiobar frame, before *any* of audiobar’s audiobar-container.php.
As you can imagine, it kinda causes some funky mismatched html tags

I have been looking for an audio player which constantly plays while users browsing the site. I found Audiobar!!!
Installed it and went to setting page and set the background colors. so far OK.
But how to upload a song? In instructions it says go to your WP editor and you see a button which looks like …… (no image available in instruction)and click to open a popup.
I don’t see any icon/button in WP editor of my page. I am wondering if I am missing something here or because this plugin hasn’t been updated for a year, it is not working anymore.
Any advice would be appreciated. Also if you know of any other plugin that works better, please share with me.

SEO/Cache Problem
After spending the weekend attempting various manners in which to achieve persistent audio and failing miserably, I stumbled on to this plugin, in hopes that it could be a legitimate solution.
As such, I initially themed the heck out of it using the skin from my previous attempt at an iFrame. However through my various hours of testing, I had purposefully entered a line of text into the header.php, specifically, “This should not be so difficult” that was literally deleted from the header 5 minutes prior to skinning AudioBar, yet the line persisted regardless of:
Next, I changed the theme from LaunchEffect to the WordPress default, 2013, reloaded the page and yet the LaunchEffect theme loaded into the browser. Deleted the LaunchEffect theme, reloaded the browser and it still showed the now deleted theme.
Well Ms. Fancy-Pants, maybe YOUR customization broke the plugin
It occurred to me that perhaps my heavy skinning had broke the plugin, thus I deactivated the AudioBar plugin, reloaded the browser and finally the 2013 theme appeared in the browser.
Note: Changes in the AudioBar iframe were always reflected immediately, only the Content iframe, became stale during my testing.
Therefore, I deleted my modified version of the AudioBar plugin, reinstalled the stock version and poof, right back to displaying a deleted theme. Thereafter, I went into my cPanel file manager and noticed massive amounts of cached files being generated without a cache plugin. Deleted every cache file, the Cache folder on the server, then edited the wp-config.php file, and changed define(‘WP_CACHE’, true) to define(‘WP_CACHE’, false);
Next, I reloaded the AudioBar plugin and ta-dah, no more problems: change themes, reload, perfect – skin the theme, reload, changes reflected immediately.
So How Does this also Relate to SEO?
My hypothesis is that whatever incompatibility exists between wp-cache WP-Super Cache/AudioBar result in the page being skipped by Google/Bing spiders as the page is reporting no-change.
In conclusion, I again implore the developers to figure out this riddle and hope my long-winded explanation may prove to be of some help.

Just an additonal f.y.i. as to why I need the player to be flash and not HTML 5 The current implementation of HTML 5 does not allow for a stream being broadcast Live! to be real time when a user clicks the pause button as the stream will start off right where it was paused in lieu of buffering back to real-time.

I’m using Audiobar in a WordPress multilingual site with WPML, and there are no problems with default language, but when I select another language and open a menu link in a new tab, I get 404 error. I think that the problem is because the Audiobar breaks the URL by adding /#/.
You can have a lookhere, opening reservation menu option for example in a new tab it breaks the url and returns a 404 error.
It automatically deletes the first character of the section url, for example in the above case it should be:
https://thesite.com/#/en/reservation/
But the url is changed to that:
https://thesite.com/#/en/eservation/
Any possible fix for that?

]]>I’m having difficulty figuring out how to render playable tracks on a post/page when it is coming directly from a theme template file.
If that is not possible, can someone expose the raw shortcode for rendering a track within a post (from within the WordPress editor). My installation didn’t seem to add the blank clickable square that injects the shortcode into the editor area, so I have no idea what the code is to render a track. The documentation should include this shortcode so I don’t have to rely on the editor’s interface.

– if playing an MP3, then it loads the Flash Player – and that’s OK, at least it plays.
– if playing an OGG file, the player loads as HTML5, but the PLAY button in the post do not appear and i can’t play the track… however, the Download button appears anyway.

Things to note: I have turned all of my plugins off to see if this corrects the issue. It doesn’t (one of those plugins is Jetpack). I am also using pagelines frameworks.

]]>I have Audiobar installed on my personal website – theoholloway.com – WP 3.5, Wu Wei theme – the only other plug-in being MaxButtons. When you play a track, it starts, and then a few moments later, another copy starts over the top of it. When you go to pause it, only one copy stops.
This is a bit of a show-stopper – any thoughts from anyone?

]]>I am having an issue with Audiobar not showing at the top or bottom of the page, and when I click play on the song link it opens a new page that just shows the player.
]]>I am using the WP-Touch plugin. When viewing on mobile device, the audiobar does not show. When you navigate to any page other than home that page only loads for a second then redirects to the home page over and over in an infinite loop.
Also, the main functionality of this plugin is lacking. When a visitor comes to the site and sees a play button in the audio bar they will click it like any other media play they have ever used. When it does not play any music they will think its broken. The audiobar should cue the songs into the player NOT require users to find another play button in a page or post.
You are the only developer in the WP world I could find after days of searching that has figured out continuous playback so kudos for that!! I have to uninstall and try this out on a test site and await further developments.
