]]>Hi – I LOVE this plugin as I’m creating a visual dictionary for my site. I need to attach around 200 sounds to images. The plugin has been working fine, but I’ve got to a certain amount of attachments (around 50) and now I’m not seeing the range of image files popping up as options when I go to attach the sound file.

I followed your reply to another request:
Open the file js/asi-run.js and change the following lines :
line 10 : replace ‘top-left’ by ‘center’
line 14 : replace ‘small’ by ‘big
But it seems the ‘center’ did not work. icon remains top-left, but, it did get bigger. Also, how do I change the speaker to a “play” button icon, or something else. Thank you

Jordy first of all, of the many many plugins I have come across in WP, this is the best I have come across. I love it so much perhaps cause it gives a new dimension to my story telling. Way to go buddy.
I am starting to use it. I am using it with Elementor. Couple of things I discovered is
1. When I use it in a image element, it doesn’t work i.e the audio-image combination.
2. It only works within a text element.
3. The combination can’t be used in any gallery either.
Any suggestions/work arounds for 1 and 3?

I’m slowly losing my mind here haha! I used your plugin before and it worked perfectly. I’ve now redesigned the interactive that I wanted to incorporate into my website, followed exactly the same process (created individual jpeg blocks, mp3), and have followed the same process to upload the media and attach it using your plugin, but the speaker icon does not come up. I’ve tried everything and don’t know what to do now. Please help.

First, thx: Your plugin is both simple and very useful to my mind!
Second, a slight limitation/bug: with virtue theme, it only works if the image is not contained by the media link (a conflict with light box?)
Third, it would be great if by adding a WP gallery containing multiple “audio story images” (I mean already coupled sound&image), it would be possible to navigate inside the gallery and at the same time between the different attached sound.
That way, it would create a true “audio slideshow” which so far does not exist in WP, to my limited knowledge ??

I like your “audio stories images” plugin the play button on the top left is great but i can not use this plugin yet which i would love to if you would please add a fast responsive “song scrubber bar” along the bottom of the image so people who visit my website can scan through the song, also the play button only appears & works when inserting the image in posts & pages using the “add media” option the play button does not appear when using the “featured image” option if you can get this to work using the “featured image” option you will have a really nice plugin here & i will use it all the time through out my website.
Another thing i came across one of my images was white on the top right of the image so i could not see the play button because the play button is white it would be nice if we could change the colour of the play button for each image when needed.

]]>Hello, i only have to say it’s amazing plugin i search for one like this.
Today i’m doing some experimental post and it’s ok.
My web site use a composer like visual composer but it’s the muffingroup composer. The problem it’s that if i put the imagen i check the sound doesn’t work but it have the sound icon.
i have solved that issue adding another one of the same imagen in the wordpress text with the style display:none and hide the second one and the first one in the composers now the sounds run.
But then i have an other issue i use that imagen in a hook after content, thats mean i have to add thad imagen with style display:none in all the pages and i have around 200 with my entrys.
Today the imagen with composer only play in the home and i want to do the same in all the pages. Here it’s my website https://garitma.com
]]>I’m a composer who is currently setting up a website. I was delighted to discover your Audio Story Images plug-in since as far as I can find it is the only such app around.
My one piece of feedback would be to request another template with a less discreet play icon. The current version works beautifully, but my preference would be for a centred and slightly larger play button.

]]>For my trials in developing a Dutch Language Course I am using the DIVI plugin.
There are two ways within that Theme to add audio.
1. the audio button. After adding a link, it opens a player. In my case Quicktime is opening in a new tab. That causes the learning text disappear.
2. the Audio Module. This plays the audio in the same page.
Both options don’t work for me.
The 2nd solution with the DIVI Audio Module takes up a lot of space as you can see on this test page: https://justcase.eu/index.php/nl/test-met-audio/ At lease one quarter of a full screen.
What I would like to achieve is the method used in Easy Japanese Lessons, from NHK: https://www.nhk.or.jp/lesson/english/learn/list/1.html The Japanese lessons give a much cleaner user-experience: click once and you’ll hear the word(s) or sentences. And the user can click as often as he/she wants, thus repeating the process until he/she is satisfied that the pronunciation is right.
I have not found a suitable audio plugin in the WP directory, although I tried several. The one that attracts me most is the Plugin from MEOW: https://apps.meow.fr/audio-story-images/ It adds a little audio button, but it is intended to be working only for adding audio to images. Although languages courses DO need images, they also need audio for text.
To achieve nice formatting for the text I need tables. I’d like to use EXCEL, but it converts only to HTML and I end up losing functions and, again it opens an Audio Player in another Tab, thus preventing the use from seeing the associated text.
To get nice tables I’m using another Plugin called TablePress. Take a look here: https://tablepress.org/ But… it does not have an option to insert images, sound or anything else. Not into a row, not into the header/footer, and NOT into a cell.
DIVI itself does NOT provide a Table option. Strange, because in every other aspect I find DIVI – and EXTRA – the most flexible Themes ALL THE WAY ROUND. Take a look for yourselves at: https://www.elegantthemes.com
