Solved a problem not natively available through WordPress’ own code.

For a client website I needed to be able to (un)attach images to pages without showing them in the text, because the images are parsed by the template to show next to the text on the website in a specific layout. This website made (un)attaching possible. Thanks!

Went through tons of plugins just to find this functionality. It’s exactly what I needed, no more and no less.
I needed to: a) be able to remove attachments (because I accidentally created thousands of posts using an auto-post that creates posts when uploading images; perfect for other needs but *not* in this case!)… and
b) most importantly, to be able to ATTACH uploaded images to existing posts. What I have is the equivilent of piles of papers and piles of pictures that *used* to be together but lost their connection.
(extracted my personal writings + images from a social network)
and while I figured out how to import 4000+ separate posts (it’s for archiving) using a great csv import plugin, here was the pile of photos that I knew I’d have to add ONE BY ONE… 1883. The process of going into each post separately was going to be a nightmare, so I searched for this and – anyway – *thank you* for making it. Simple and perfect.
