Is there setting to enable so that models dock/anchor to ground when viewing on AR. They load and just follow camera

I’m wondering if there is any way to add audio to my AR model. I currently have a model with an animation and would like to add audio to it, so to make it more immersive. Is there any way of doing this?

A pre-purchase question, but a real problem first while testing your free version:

When a new model is created, plugin creates a dedicated kind of post/page or similar.

As I am using the shortcode which is working great, but this other post-like:

• is not SEO not friendly at all
• can not be themed correctly, nor completed with useful info
• is redundant with post/page where we insert the shortcode
• does not link back to original page where shortcode is located, so user is lost in that dummy page

–> So would it be possible to have a simple checkbox in general-options page or on a model-by-model case, “do not create 3D model page” ?

(note: I have the same opinion with your new “categories” type, but here problem is simpler for me … I just have not to create one, although your categories type appears in other admin sections or SEO plugin)

Good evening, I need to understand why I lose quality when viewing the 3D model uploaded to the site.

The .3ds model was provided to me by the manufacturer and can be viewed at this link:

I converted the file to glb and uploaded it correctly to the site. You can see the model at the following link:

The problem is in the loss of quality when I try to view the model within the environment.

Once I upload it to wordpress, ar display shows me this preview:

I can’t seem to figure out what is going on – this was working for a while, but recently added a new model and it does not want to load and now none of the other models are loading as well. When I am logged into wpadmin and view the page (with the admin bar at top) it loads the model fine. However, if I log out and visit the public page it doesn’t load – it appears to load halfway and the loading bar gets stuck. I have disabled all other plugins on the website completely and do not know what is going on. Perhaps this is an issue with my theme – I am using Genesis theme if that matters?

Please, I need help to know how to activate the right click pan on 3D model like in the support and example page.

I want to remove the automatic subscription from my account profile on https://myjavbay.com/ and want to remove my card information from the payment method. Please advise – how can I do that.

If attempt to delete it from My Account page, it will not be deleted with the following message.

“That payment method cannot be deleted because it is linked to an automatic subscription. Please add a payment method, before trying again.”

After installing the plugin our search results page shows only one item, three on the next page, then two, then four, etc., but the customer will initially see one product, and presumably not go to next page.
After deactivating the AR plugin the Search Results Page works flawlessly.

I’ve been using this plugin for a little while. I’ve successfully uploaded models, added their shortcode to an Elementor page; everything has worked fine.

Thing is, every now and then, the models will just “disappear”. No edits/changes have been made to the site whatsoever. I will just visit my site, and they will be gone.

I started investigating by looking at the posts for each model. I go to the edit page and I see the preview render is even gone. “View model post” also shows a canvas with no object rendered.

The first time this happened, I fixed it by making brand new AR model posts and reuploading the model files. Worked fine. Then a few days later, the same thing happened to those posts. (Note that reuploading the files to the post does not work. I have to create a brand new AR model post to successfully see the rendered models.)

Any help with this would be appreciated.

i’m trying the plugin but i’ve noticed a bug with elementor pro 3.12.2, when you are in edit mode and click on an already inserted model the elementor sidebar remain blank and an error is printed on the console.

To reproduce the error you can create a new page with elementor, add the AR for WordPress widget and select a model, then save the page and reload the editor, click on the AR for WordPress widget and the elementor settings sidebar remain blank.

Note that if you disable elementor pro keeping only the free elementor active there is no bug.

I’ve used the AR for WordPress plugin for over a year with no problems. This is for a site running Elementor. However, I had to deactivate multiple plugins on my site this past week. When I reactivated the AR for WordPress plugin, my site would no longer load. The browser page appears blank. I ruled out plugin conflict by deactivating everything except AR for WordPress and the Elementor plugin. It’s only happening when AR for WordPress is activated. Is it possibly related to the recent plugin update? Does AR for WordPress now only work for paid accounts? Is there a way for me to troubleshoot this on my own? I can’t leave the plugin active right now because I need the site to be up and available.

I know it’s not exactly the same but https://leoncvlt.github.io/ar-button/ also uses the model viewer code but it allows a call to action button on iOS. Would it be possible for you to implement this for this plugin too?

I’m currently doing some tests with the free version of the plugin. In camera mode the model loads fine on iPhone although it doesn’t track to the environment very well but on Android the model loads for a split second and then disappears completely. Any ideas what might be happening?

Never the less, I just wanted to setup my unique setting with the premium version. But when I upload an image for a specific AR button the image appears over the whole 3D Model. Is this a bug or did I do something wrong?

Hi there. Is it at all possible to trigger a 3D model loading when the camera sees a certain image. For example, our client has some posters that they’d like to use that when seen through your phone camera, trigger a 3D image to load, tracked to where the poster is on the wall. Would that be at all possible with this plugin?

The AR button doesn’t work on all mobile devices.
It didn’t work on my android mobile.
At first when the product page loads and when you click on the AR button
notification permission popped up requesting camera access
I put allow and nothing happened afterward.
Did someone face this issue?

Thank you for this great plugin.
I’m trying to make an test that is displaying a cupcake. It is working in ios.
Now i converted the object both to glb and gltf files to give it a try. And i also tried an zipped obj including textures. The viewer on android gives the message that ‘I can;t load object. something is wrong with the object’. (in Dutch)
I tried several objects.

Do you have any suggestions? Thank you!

(one more question i mailed about today, was if it is possible to adjust the AR to an image ‘tag’ Maybe it is nice to respond here ?? )

Dear Nick,
just a little improvement suggestion for the scaling description:
when using scaling, all 3 fields must be used. I just needed a bit to find that out because I just wanted to use -1 on the y-scale but it didn’t work until I filled also the x- and z-scale with 1.

I placed multiple tags [ardisplay id=x,y,z], each tag display multiple ar models by thumbnails. The issue happens when I select item from the second [ardisplay] tag then the selected armodel is displayed on the the model view of the first [ardisplay] tag while it should be displayed on the second one.

For tag [ardisplay cat=X], is “X” AR Model Category ID? if yes how can I know that ID number? I tried to use the string name of created AR model category but it does not work.

I paid for premium package – could upload several models successfully but on next day I see this message on my website where the tag [ardisplay] is placed.

Please can you consider my two suggestions below as improvement to the plugin.
1) [ardisplay cat=X] provides great ways to display multi models with the carousel for users to select. However it limits the way of displaying text information to each model if we use [ardisplay cat]. Is it possible to upgrade the plugin to allow content-creator add text/ label links to each model? The use case view is that when each model is displayed by [ardisplay cat] there can be a label link so that user can click to the link to jump to the product detail page.
2) It’s great the plugin provide a way to adjust the brightness (light power) of the models.

I bought license key for “AR for WordPress”, downloaded the beech chair sample model from your augmentedrealityplugins.com and followed your guideline video to create my first sample AR on my WP website by embedding [ardisplay id=xyz] in my sample page but the AR model did not work. It only displayed the AR image and the “Dimension” tag, no clue the AR model is there on the page.
Is there anything I can check to have the AR work?

can the display categories somehow act as a slider? i am unable to make the ar plugin shortcodes work within a slider … i just want the images (when i upgrade ?? to be able to cycle without a selection bar on the bottom?

So I click on cube
then am I meant to put the texture image file in the space above & hit return?
I then have a cube.gltf in the asset box above but even after refresh it is not showing my texture.
so, what am i doing wrong please?
