Hello.
I’d like to achieve the visual output of this widget in the page content. Could you please provide for a shortcode that has the same effect as your widget? that would be great!
thanks

Hi Soleil,
Anyfeed-Slideshow is exactly what I need, but I can’t get it to show any images! I keep inserting different RSS feed URLs, but continue to get a triangle with an exclamation point and no other image.
Here are the RSS feeds I was attempting to use:
https://www.someecards.com/combined-rss
https://feeds.feedburner.com/uberhumor/hBjj?format=xml
I am sure that User Error is causing the problem, but any help would be much appreciated!
P.S. I use GoDaddy for hosting and my framework includes prototype.js…both of which seem to cause problems for the similar plug-in Blip, so I didn’t know if this was the same thing.
]]>In my first attempt with Anyfeed Slideshow, I installed version 1.0.12 and put the widget in the sidebar. I tried using a feed from my blog generated by another plugin which works with CoolIris (a media feed). It shows “No Images Found”. So I wanted to try the default feed that it starts with, but I didn’t want to lose my other settings…I dragged another widget into the sidebar and got this strange display.

Just upgraded to the latest version of wordpress and I can only get the slideshow to work displaying the full size images from flickr – these dont fit in the slideshow properly. Tried all sorts of variations of the feed url but have failed. Really like this plugin, haven’t found anything that will do the same so I’m hoping there is a fix of some sort.

I am trying to use our SmugMug RSS feed to work but the widget shows the error “No images found”. The RSS feed url I am using is:

The slideshow is at https://www.esaner.com.
Thanks for your help,

Hello,
Nice plugin.
Is there a way to integrate into my theme with php statement?
That would be great!

]]>Hi
Love the widget.
The feed I’m trying to show has 2 images in it. The second is a larger image than the first.
Is there a way to get the plugin to use the 2nd image ?
The feed I;m using is here :

]]>Hello,
I have tried setting my images to both thumbnail and content size and no matter what I do they won’t re-size to fit the dimensions indicated. They actually look identical using both options. What am I doing wrong?
]]>I just upgraded my Anyfeed Slideshow to the 1.0.12 version and just get an image of an exclamation mark – “No images found”
I am feeding from Flickr !
Any suggestions ?
Where does one define how close or down from the top of the page that the header slideshow will display? I’ve looked in the PHP code and did not see a position…. what did I miss?
]]>Had to change the NameNode to add “\\” to get the images to view, but the placement on the page is now over the header text (too low).
]]>This is a great plugin. It was working fine for me until just recently when the feed stopped loading. Just a flashing “Loading” text is now shown. I made no changes to the site that would have affected this plugin.
The widget is on the home page at https://esaner.com
The Picasa feed is https://picasaweb.google.com/data/feed/base/user/esaner/albumid/5591350416139771953?alt=rss&kind=photo&hl=en_US
I tried the suggestion in this post related to removing an underscore from the plugin php file, but that did not help. I believe that fix was related to loading thumbnails. I am using the plugin to load full size photos, or “content” as it’s labeled in the plugin settings.
Thanks for any help you can offer.
Cheers,
Eric
Hi,
This has been working great but all of a sudden it has stopped. I just get the flashing loading message. Any help you could provide would be appreciated!
]]>I’ve been using this plugin for a while on my family blog located at https://adamandsarah.arnesenfamily.net/ and I have really liked it! I recently noticed, however, that the photos are no longer being resized to fit the widget area. I haven’t done any updates since this was last working.
I’m trying to use an rss feed from picasa at https://picasaweb.google.com/data/feed/base/user/adamarnesen/albumid/5492788725153212161?alt=rss&kind=photo&hl=en_US
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
]]>I am using an RSS feed from Smug Mug and I trying to get the images to display larger than thumbnail. When I select content, they actually show up smaller. I’m a newbie so I’m sure I am doing something wrong, how do I adjust image size? I really appreciate the help.
]]>Hi.
The widget is not working if i set the feed from my photos linked to photobucked.
Please any help?
Thanks
]]>I am in the midst of developing a new blog: https://built-design.com/wordpress_apex/
I love this really simple and cool plugin but I am getting a no image or alert instead of the images in the set I’m trying to feed.
Any thoughts on this?
]]>How I can display the slideshow in random order?
]]>Hi
I am having a problem with the following link for the plugin. It is the RSS Feed for a set of pictures. This feed link comes from the RSS link at the bottom of the set.
Am I doing something remiss?
Thanks – and looks like this is going to be great ??
Best

Hi Soleil,
Awesome plugin, thanks a lot!
Is it possible to tweak the code to open the image associated link in the same window? If so, how?
Many thanks,
Yoko
]]>If you want Anyfeed Slideshow (And possible others) to show your latest Google Picasa webalbum uploads it isn’t easy to find the correct RSS feed to do this. The per-album feed is easy to find, and the RSS link at the main page can only show 1 picture per albums you have.
After some searching around the web I found the correct RSS feed to show the latest uploads in a RSS feed:
https://picasaweb.google.com/data/feed/base/user/<your username>?kind=photo&alt=rss&max-results=10
You can change the max-results if you want more or less then 10 items.
So now you can show your latest uploads, instead of showing one specific album.
I just installed he anyfeed plugin and I have no idea how to input an appropriate URL to show photos. If I were to use a flickr photostream, what URL do I use? Sorry if this is a dumb question.
]]>I to am a newbie, and looking for a simple way to show images on a page in a blog. Is “anyfeed” just a sidebar widget or can it be used as the main feature on a page? And if so, how do I do that? Where/how are images applied to the page?
]]>Tried to put two Widgets into the sidebar but only one showed. Is it possible to have two or more Anyfeed widgets (with different content/feeds)?
]]>Hi,
Great plugin, it really looks nice and it only ads two extra sql queries to my page.
I looked into the source of the generated HTML of a page when using Anyfeed. I noticed that the Javascript of Anyfeed widget is showing into the head section. From a SEO perspective I don’t prefer that.
Is it possible to put it into the sidebar? Maybe in the next version?
