I am writing to report a difficulty I am encountering with the “Multi-Item Drag and Drop Function” in Anthologize.
Issue Description:
While I am able to left mouse click on “Posts” and drag multiple posts simultaneously, When attempting to do so, either only one item gets dropped in the “Part” I have selected.
I can see the multiple posts appear for about 1 second or so over the “Part” section, only to have them disappear.
What am I doing wrong? Could you please provide guidance on how to resolve this issue?

]]>Anthologize is still broken. It’s a huge shame, it used to be a great tool but it has succumbed to bitrot. Even its website is dead. If anyone has advice on getting it working with current WordPress/PHP installs it’d be appreciated.

]]>I have an old and outdated blog I’m trying to print for sentimental reasons. I updated WordPress and related plug-ins, including Anthologize. But it’s being buggy. I can’t delete any item (part or post/page), this gives me an “error has occurred” message, and nothing is deleted. Also, sometimes the post and page titles don’t show up, so I can’t see what I’m working with, but if I refresh enough, they come back. But now, I got an “error has occurred” message and all the posts I had added are blank, in the preview and export.
I can keep starting over, export each category separately, and try not to make any mistakes, but this will still take quite a while. Is there a way I can get the errors to stop? Is there something else I can update? Is this an out-of-date plug-in altogether and I should try something else?

]]>Anthologize has always had a known issue with creating duplicate, broken entries in the media library. However, something changed recently – either with the plugin or with wordpress behaviour – but the last time I tried to modify an existing project, it duplicated MY WHOLE MEDIA LIBRARY! 400 pages worth of broken links – I had to restore from a backup. It’s a shame, because Anthologize worked reasonably well up until this point. Is the plugin still being maintained?

What I ever wanted is now there. All posts are alphabetically sorted but from Z to A not how would be logically A-Z. Who is sorting this way? I am really frustrated how unlogically programmer can be… ;(
]]>On the front page of the pdf report the copyright is not properly rendered it shows as:

If you select the option to hide shortcode tags photos from the media library are not displayed but the shortcode tag for my gallery plugin is still shown. If I enable the shortcode tags then the media library images are shown properly but still the gallery shortcode tag is displayed.
If I add the gallery as a separate page (it is a CPT) to the report then a blank page is shown rather than the images being rendered.

I think its PDF convert engine not support Turkish, our site is wordpress (utf-8) but when you export PDF its not render Turkish chars correctly. Eg. Tasar?m => Tasar?m, ?ark?c? => ?ark?c?
We would like to use it and hope you help for it?

Hi there,
The plugin crashes when trying to export to PDF. I’ve tried with every option but always getting the same result!
I also get “You do not have sufficient permissions to access this page” message when trying to refresh page after a crash!
In the case of “html export” I just get the first post.
When exporting to RTF, word is not able to open the file.
Any recommendation?

Anthologize Version 0.7.7
I created a new project (tried as user and also as admin) and wanted to “create a new part” to get started.
1.) there is no “publish” button as in the description
2.) once i entered a title and clicked on save … NOTHING happens … so i only see the “create new part” button again.
What is going wrong? no error or nothing is shown, so i have absolutely no clue why it is not creating a new part. I hope someone can help.

]]>Test in version 4.4.1 and 4.2.6, same broken behavior in both. Anthologize version 0.7.6.
Doing any multi item select while in “Manage Parts”, selecting only a few or all posts (about 400) fails.
1. make the selection.
2. drag and drop “posts” title bar over to “part”
3. items show as being moved, but do not show “edit|preview|remove” buttons, and indication that they aren’t really there.
4. leaving the window and coming back the items are missing.
5. export to pdf, the items are missing
drag and drop of any single item, works as expected, edit buttons appear, export to pdf includes the item.
Tested in Chrome, w and w/o “incognito” and in IE. Same behavior.
This would be a fabulous tool for me, IF this worked. Thanks.

]]>My university self hosts a multisite, multinetwork system. Whenever anyone (admins included) attempt to export their project a page pops up stating they do not have the required permission. Admins get a different page saying they are attempting to access the main dashboard and do not have permission. It seems both are attempting to access info outside of their personal site (reaching for the main site) is their a way to resolve this?

Every option to export cycles and then times out with this message:
Connection timed out – please try again.
I have changed the max_execution_time to 180 and memory_limit to 128M. I have contacted my host and there is nothing more they can do to help make this plugin export the posts.
What do I have to do to get the export to work?
