Schedules with wp-cron no longer work under 1.6.6.
Switching back to 1.6.5 fixed the problem.
]]>Hello, im still getting a restricted content error in my API calls.
This works well. I get a list of all my users:
[hostname]/wp-json/wp/v2/users/
Here i get a restricted content error:
[hostname]/wp-json/wp/v2/users/{userid}
When i disable the plugin both work correctly.
I’m getting this message on the latest version of the plugin: PHP message: PHP Fatal error: Uncaught TypeError: count(): Argument #1 ($value) must be of type Countable|array, string given in /wp-content/plugins/anonymous-restricted-content/public/class-arc-public.php:481. My server is running PHP 8 and the plugins version is 1.6.3.

WordPress Anonymous Restricted Content plugin <= 1.6.2 – Protection Mechanism Bypass vulnerability
Are you aware of this and when is a fix available?
]]>Hello,
My name is Nadira Fant. We are having some issues with this plugin as it is still redirecting logged in users to the login page even after they have logged in. We only have one page set to restricted. It is still restricted for users who are not logged in, but as soon as they login, they are not able to view the page
Strangely enough, this is only happening for one user for these browsers: Edge, Chrome, Firefox. All of our other staff arent having this issue
Best,
Nadira
]]>Would it be possible to keep the restricted content in lists but with a blurred or an alternative image instead of the original? On my site I restrict explicit images from anonymous visitors but I want to seduce these visitors to login by showing them a blurred image with a text “login to view”. Are currently the posts hidden from lists by a hide command? Can tell me what I could change to make it work the way I want?
]]>Hey ho!
I’ve notice that this error is fixed for posts and pages, but still happening with custom post types. At least I haven’t figured out what’s going on.
Could you check please why this is happening?
Thank you in advance.
]]>This plugin is throing error on the default theme “twenty twenty three” as well.
The “arc-plugin” plugin has encountered an error and cannot be rendered.

I guess you need to update the plugin ASAP. Thanks
]]>Hey,
I tested your plugin and it worked fine on the blog page (that is created by WordPress by default). Anyway, when I add the elementor posts widget to a page (I have pages for different categories) the plugin doesn’t remove from feed the posts. It shows to both logged in users and logged out ones. Only when I click it, it redirects to the login page. The thing is that I need to have some articles that are only visible to the site members and I don’t want them to appear in the feed. Is it possible you can come up with a fix?

]]>Hi,
Can the plugin protect the whole site?
wonderful idea, and I love the simplicity. Yet: Apparently it does not work on Chromium-based web browsers (Firefox, Chrome, new Edge): It redirects to the login page (as expected), but after logging in, returns to the login page, even though I’m now logged in.
Even logging in first, and then trying to access the page returns me to the login page.
Works fine in Safari, old Edge, internet explorer.
This check box is missing for ‘Hide this category and it’c content from non-logged in users’, after installation and activation. The box appears on single posts but not when I want to edit entire categories. My WordPress , themes and plugins are updated. Any suggestions?
]]>Since the possibility to restrict entire categories is gone, I have two feature suggestions that would cover some of the benefits that was lost:
1. Make it possible to Bulk Restrict posts and pages by using the Bulk Actions dropdown the All Posts and All Pages view.
2. Add a global option to make “Restricted content” default when creating a new post or page. If activated in the plugin settings, it would simply mean that the checkbox “Restricted for anonymouse users” would be ticked by default when a new post or page is created. (Useful on for example membership websites with frontend publish forms, where all content should be protected. The category protection solved this problem before.).
Keep up the good work! ??
]]>I installed Anonymous Restricted Content plugin to restrict checkout page as I require customers to create new Account or Login First. I tested with default as well as with my own message that I want customers to see when they are redirected to Account page but Login Screen message does not show. I am using latest ver of WOO 4.3.2 and WP 5.5
]]>In the “edit category” screen there is no checkbox “Hide this category and its content from not logged-in users”.
The respective checkbox in the post edit screen is visible and works as intended.
I use plugin version 1.3.2 in WordPress 5.4.2.

Nice and simple plugin otherwise.
]]>Is this plugin capable of restricting the whole Posts/blog page?
I want to restrict access to the Posts/blog page.
I have a multilingual site and need to change the link for different languages…
https://www.rosentreter.website/my-account/
https://www.rosentreter.website/mein-konto/
etc.
At the moment the “Redirect URL:” does not appear to be a translatable string in Polylang… Yet the “Login screen message:” is…
Is there a simple way to add the URL as a translatable string within the plugin code???
Cheers
]]>This error appears at the top of all my category pages.
Notice: Undefined variable: is_content_restricted in /home/coredist/public_html/wp-content/plugins/anonymous-restricted-content/public/class-arc-public.php on line 116
]]>I really like the simplicity of your plugin but my log is full with those notices:
PHP Notice: Undefined variable: is_content_restricted in ...\wp-content\plugins\anonymous-restricted-content\public\class-arc-public.php on line 116
Could you please add an isset() check?
In …\wp-content\plugins\anonymous-restricted-content\admin\class-arc-admin.php on line 105 there’s also a typo: “anonymouse” > “anonymous”
Btw. it would be nice to have a setting that allows to select “Restricted for anonymous users” by default.
Best regards,
Jan
If I install this plugin so that pages on my website need logging in or account creation first, are they still indexed on Google? Or does this plugin mean that pages “firewalled” are de-indexed? Thanks.
]]>Hello,
Thanks for the free plugin
For information, when this plugin Anonymous Restricted Content is active, pages to edit LearnDash courses edit do not work anymore
Kind regards
Hi, if you go on the site, click Concours – Comme des bêtes 2 Blu-ray contest post preview it goes to the login page (perfect that what i want) BUT if you do nothing, go back on the main page and click again, it go throught without redirecting to the login page.
Any Idea?
]]>Hi, great simple plugin. I have a lot of child categories. Is there any chance you could have a feature whereby all the child categories of the parent category are also protected? Thanks.
]]>Hello,
I have a Classified plugin which works with short-codes …
I mean when I wish to show “ads” for instance, I have to add a new page (page title “ads”) and paste a short-code …
Then to show the page on the front-end, I add the page into the Menu (I add the page “ads” in the Primary Menu for me).
When I select your check-box “Restricted for not logged-in users” in the page “ads”, the page “ads” is still shown on the front-end, logged or not …
Please do you have any php code or other to paste in the function.php file of the child theme to restrict the page to not logged-in users ? or any other simple solution ?
Thank you & Best Regards,
Chris
]]>Thanks for a really nice plugin! Is it possible to set a custom link (URL) that not logged in users are redirected to?
If not, it would be a very nice feature to be able to present an explanation about why the users need to login and how they can create an account.
