I discovered an issue that affect the website surfed in mobile.
The theme in use is Hestia.

The issue is that the banner, when placed on top, cover the mobile menu if the mobile menu is pressed.

Nice plugin. I am using current user role in the notification bar that dynamically change based on WooCommerce purchase. I am also using WP-Optimize plugin for caching pages. When the page is cached, notification bar is cached too so user role remains unchanged after WooCommerce purchase.

I was wondering is there any way to exclude notification bar from caching while keeping the page cached? Please let me know. Thank you!

No matter how often I create and publish an announcement, none is displayed.

Hi, this plugin works great and is easy to set up. I’m only missing banner display on Woocommerce products pages, why does banner not show on these pages?

For example – banner is shown here: https://stefkinedobrote.si/trgovina/

I have enabled “Shown in all pages”.

How can I enable it to show globally on all pages, including Woocommerce products?

We’ve run into an issue where the Announcer plugin is taking all of the events from TEC and turning them into announcer bars on any TEC /events/tag/**** slugs and on these pages only.

I counted the number of announcements displayed and it is the same as the number of events created in the TEC database. It doesn’t matter if the event is passed or not.

Currently, the plugin will cause bad CLS scores with Google Page Experience. This is because once the announcement loads and is displayed, it pushes everything on the page down.

You need to load a container for the announcement bar immediately, and then the announcement fills it. That way, there will be no layout shift.

Please advise ASAP if this is possible.

I have an idea for a feature request or a question if the following task can be realized now.

There are three banners active. Which means that three banners are displayed one below the other and the user – especially on a mobile device – cannot do what is mentioned in the banner (hint to a how-to page or similar), because he has no more “workspace”.

Therefore, it would be more practical to place the banners not one below the other (in lines) but one over the other (i.e. per z-index).

Of course, this would not make sense in every case, but if there is – as in my case – also an actual order – it is enough if the first to be processed is on top and the next banner would be visible when that one is closed.

More difficult I see the second point: It would not be sufficient with different text quantity to stack the banners by z-index, because then this would lead to optical problems. Accordingly, a logic (if then) on PHP would then be more useful.

Not easy, but if the trend clearly goes to much more small displays, we site managers have to follow.

I am ready for any deepening / support and offer me with pleasure to the assistance!

If you add ids and !important this cannot be overridden.

I’m an admin for a site that has a few users that have a very basic understanding of WP. This plugin is PERFECT for them as they don’t need to access the page(s) we built. I give them ‘Author’ privileges. I can see the admin panel for this plugin but they cannot – and as such, they can’t use it. Is there a way to adjust the privileges so that users other than admins can use it?

Just reporting a conflict I have found with The Events Calendar and Events Calendar Pro 6.02. Site completely broke after updating some plugins. Eventually isolated to the Events Calendar update somehow conflicting with Announcer. Appears to be an Announcer issue as html of pages that did load were riddled with Announcer html with many hundreds of elements with 500+ ancr selectors.

I have resolved this myself by deactivating Announcer, until a future release fixes this.

Is it possible to translate welcome bars in different languages using WPML or in any other ways?

The plugin has everything that I need, well almost everything. I tried to enlarge the font size, but nothing changes. I tried different sizes but nothing. I was able to enlarge the button font size, but the main message font size is stuck at what looks like 10px. Any suggestions?

IF you have multiple buttons, they don’t stack and scale in mobile. I can handle this in CSS but would like it to be native to the plugin, thank you!

I tell you that we use it with the elementor plugin through shortcodes. But there are many observations.

1. Hide the close icon (X) is below

2 There are margins or spaces that do not cover the width, I have already tried everything, there is a fix.

3. You should activate a blank option or only for builder to not depend on the styles of the plugin that conflict

4. When the plugin is activated so that it disappears in X time it creates a blank space and is not displayed.

For now we have it working in a fixed way, since adding the X close button does not appear and creates spaces on the left side.

Hi, I love your plugin thank you! I’m concerned though about site speed – specifically, if there is no Announcement active on the site, the plugin still loads all the assets on the frontend. That means that whenever I’m not using the plugin I can’t have it active, and an Administrator-level user has to reactivate it before it can be used again, every time.

Could you add a check to see if there’s a published announcement prior to loading all front-end assets? Thank you so much again.

The pro plugin is notifying me that version 5.1 is available for update but it will not update. The update button just redirects me to the plugin page.

I would like to know how can remove the offset if I show a sticky bottom notice?

If I set the background to transparent , it seems a lot of empty space on bottom.

Notification bars will be shown every time scroll the page if display on scroll condition is selected.

Is there a way to keep hide it until the page is reloaded without enable the keep closed option?

Your plugin is really amazing and one of a kind. I never see any reason why would I uninstall this such of a great plugin.

I just have one question regarding your display filter. I was wondering if it can recognize the custom post type categories and tags.

I tried the filter. I have my announcement already and I want to show it to a custom post type within a specific category. It worked when you just chose a particular post type but the additional category/tag filter seemed to not work?

As for example, I choose “Post type” is “course”
Then, I clicked the + sign
There’s another filter “categories of post” is :”———”

Even I chose a custom post type, the categories that appear from the selection are from the default blog post type.

Is this normal?
