Hello Joshua.
Is this plugin still working?
hello
Does anyone know how to setup a specific amount of prayers per page and how to use pagination ?
thanks
]]>Hello UaMV,
I’m using Amen for three weeks now ; I really do enjoy it.
I regret you stopped supporting it for its potential is huge…
Anyway, I try to post my request here : would you please tell me how to send a test mail for “notify weekly” ? I introduced some customs in the message form on Amen settings but I must wait one week to see the result for each custom…
Hoping you’ll care for this ;
Be blessed for all the good job already done !
Regards,
Theophil
Great plugin, one thing I can’t seem to configure is the number of prayer requests that are listed. Ideally, I would configure a list from the past XX days, but if needed, we could limit the results to XX prayer requests.
I am hoping this is something that can be configured as opposed to updated in the backend code… Not a problem if it is, we just need to make sure the code is updated again when an update is released. If it is a customization, can you let me know the file to update the query in?
Thanks in advance.
]]>Is it possible to set up an RSS feed to receive new prayer requests automatically?
]]>Hi, first I want to thank you for this plugin. It’s easy and does what it should.
I’d like to add some feature requests, in case you’re updating this plugin:
1) Possibility to translate texts. It’s already possible to edit submit button etc., but I’d also like to change ‘Add your prayer here’, ‘Urgency’, ‘Name’, ‘Email for Notifications’, and ‘Notify Weekly…’
Both .po-files or via settings would be OK.
2) I’d like to disable ‘Urgency’ and ‘Email’ from settings.
3) I did some custom CSS changes, but it would be more handy to have classes to address (although it works fine now, but it’s a little harder).
Thanks in advance!
P.S. I think I don’t get notification emails (moderation requests) after posting as a guest, although I enabled this feature and filled my email address. What can it be?
]]>How come the plug in looks like this on my page
https://www.cleardestiny.org/prayer-request-5/
Is there any way I can fix this to make it look more professional…
]]>thanks again for the great plug in.
The question is whether I can allow any visitor to submit a prayer without being logged in. So far I have not managed and help is very appreciated. Thanks y amen
By the way, this is the page (still in testing phase)
https://www.smile-hope.com/pray/
The MOST IMPORTANT thing to me is that Prayer Request submissions be totally anonymous. no matter what, they show names. any answers to that out there? THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!

Thanks
]]>I’m looking for a way to just have the part of the manage page that allows for the user to post prayer requests. In other words, I have a manage page, but I want to be able to include the post new prayer requests form on the same page as the prayer wall.
]]>In my dashboard’s Amen Settings, I have checked: Enable Public Posting , Moderate Public Posts, Moderate All Posts, Display Date of Request/Update, Enable Javascript Counter, and Enable Weekly Notification of New Prayers for Posted Requests.
The prayer wall page itself contains the shortcodes:
[amen][amen type=”manage”][amen page=”3″]
When a prayer request is submitted, a notification email is received with three links: Approve:, Delete:, View: . Clicking the Approve link takes me to the Manage Prayer Requests section of the dashboard where the entry is listed on the page, but I do not receive an “approve request” button. How does one get the option to approve requests?

]]>Hi,
Can I remove ‘Notify Weekly When Others Pray for My Request’ from the form?
]]>This plugin is great! … however, the plugin really needs a captcha (built-in WP recaptcha is preferred). In today’s state of the Internet, there is no excuse for not having this. THX!
]]>HI i have just downloaded this pluggin last night and i cant get it to work at all. It doesnt show up at all. What is the short code that has to be put on the post i would like it to display on?
]]>Greetings,
I am using this plugin for The Christian Network, and am loving it so far. May I suggest you add a Latest Prayer Requests Widget to your plugin so that the latest prayer requests can be seen elsewhere on the site (like the front page)?
Thanks,
Nathan Pinno (ChristianCowboy at TCN)
Does this plugin contain any hooks, such as a hook for posting a new prayer request?
]]>I can’t seem to fix the issue with why it is displaying incorrectly on the site. It is all distorted.

Can you help me in my dilemma??
]]>Is it possible to have a setting that allows a user to pray multiple times for the same prayer. This way the recipiant can know how often their prayer has been lifted up. I would like to click “praying” button everytime I pray for a request.
]]>Hi UaMV, thanks for a great plugin. Everything seems to work ok, I wondered if you are going to add the functionality to order by most recent first, and then some sort of either pagination or a display more for an infinite scroll.
]]>Would love to know if there’s a feature that will allow each prayer request to be immediately mailed to a mailing list church members have subscribed to? That’s a big feature of an existing PHP script that we have now, but we will switch to WP and are looking for a solution.
Not looking for a weekly digest, but an immediate email per request.
Thank you!
]]>I installed Amen and now can’t make any of the changes I need because the Settings page cant be found anywhere. Can someone help me out?
]]>What needs to be added is checkboxes by the comments and a drop down to delete multiple comments.
Thanks,

]]>How do i add a captcha to the prayer request form ?
Could you please guide me in doing that.?
]]>Is there any way to display the submission form without displaying the management features?
]]>Hi,
First of, thank you for a great plugin.
I’m using your plugin to allow public visitors to post prayers. I have two problems.
1. I have set up a user that is not an administrator. I want them to be able to approve all prayer requests. On the settings page I have added their email address to the follow section:
Send Approval Notifications To
(comma-separated list of emails ? user accounts related to these emails will be allowed approval privilege)
The users email address is receiving a notification that a new prayer has been posted, but they can’t access the prayer requests to approve the prayers. The only prayers they can change are ones they have posted.
Have I misunderstood something, or is there a problem with the plugin or my install?
2. Since I am using the plugin to allow public users to post prayers, is there a way to allow a public user to return and give feedback such as the prayer has been answered? I’m assuming this would need to work with cookies or ip address etc since they are are not registered users.
I’m using the Genesis framework with the dynamic website builder child theme if that helps.
Thanks for your help,
Adrian
]]>Hello, users of the Amen plugin! Whilst making edits for the release of Amen 3.3.0, i noticed that the previous version(s) were not writing default settings to the database. My apologies if this issue affected your install of Amen. Version 3.3.0 fixes this issue.
If you would like to write the default settings to your database as a starting point for customizations (or if you would like to rewrite default settings in order to use the default HTML formatted email digest), please take the following steps …
NOTE: This will also reset the schedule for when the email digest is sent. (note to self: look to include an option to maintain the schedule on removal)
i may look to include a quick option reset in 3.3.1. Thanks for making use of this plugin. Let me know if you encounter any issues and/or leave a review to let others know your success with the plugin.
]]>Hi! I am starting a new website for my church and want to use your plug-in and see if the pastors like it. I am sort of new to word press so I am finding the code a little confusing at times. My background for my pages is black. Is there anyway to change the prayer request form to white? How do I make it look awesome like the screenshots?
Prayer Requests are under About Us and then Contact Us for now.
Thank you!
Hey there. Love this plugin, but having some issues implementing on a client’s site (I’m a graphic designer with very little javascript experience, so bear with me if it’s an easy fix).
Here’s where we’d like to use it: https://www.eloychurchofchrist.org/prayer/
If possible, we’d like the submission form and posts on the same page (similar to this UK site), but we don’t really want the manager to pop up after every submission. The client user base isn’t very tech savvy. We’re afraid it will confuse them and lead to duplicate submissions.
Also, as you can see, having some issues getting the Submission form to integrate well with the theme (Heaven’s Corner).
Any ideas? Thanks.
