I noticed that this plugin hasn’t been updated for a while. However, I was wondering if it had any support for Elasticache.
I recently deployed WordPress on ECS using Terraform from https://www.infrasource.io/blueprints/wordpress-aws , but it lack object caching that is necessary for the heavy load I’m handling.
It’s not clear what’s the best way to use Elasticache with WordPress.
]]>Hi there! We noticed an issue where the Amazon poly recordings are not generated for scheduled post and it only works if we Update or publish the post manually.
Is there anything that we can check or do in this case?
On side note, are there any external AWS urls that is being used for Poly service that we need to whitelist? As we also implemented CSP headers just recently.
Thank you!
]]>Hi there,
I have just created a wordpress instance on Amazon Lightsail throughout this tutorial. I can login to the wordpress as an admin with the default username (user) and provided password. The problem is, i already created a whole webpage with everything included with different username (from the one i am currently writing) through localhost. How can I connect those two accounts, so the webpage from a localhost will be visible in my default “user” account i created with Amazon Lightsail?
Thank you for your help,
Katarina

Is there any known incompatibility? Is the plugin working with the latest WordPress versions? What can I try?

I believe this is caused by AWS using an older version of the Guzzle library. Any chance AWS could update the plugin to use a more current version of the library?

Hello, I followed all the istructions I’ve read here https://aws.amazon.com/it/blogs/machine-learning/read-wordpress-sites-through-amazon-alexa-devices/ but when I try to add the RSS link generate by Pollycast I always receive this error message: “Unable to access your RSS feed. Make sure the URL is correct and publicly accessible.”
What do I do wrong?
Thank you.
i noticed the plugin does not refer to the ALB in front of the server is it still connecting through the ALB magically in the background?
also
the behavior for /wp-content/*
should it not be a behavior for /wp-content/uploads/* instead since the plugins and themes rapidly update on a daily basis sometimes and would give false information by caching just /wp-content/* as a whole.
or should i do /wp-content/* and every time i update theme or plugin i should invalidate the CDN

]]>Hello dear friends,
I have just installed the plugin on my site, but the problem is that the voice reads the image descriptions and their captions.
I tried to use the tags -AMAZONPOLLY-ONLYWORD-START-
and -AMAZONPOLLY-ONLYWORD-END-
, either in the editor in visual or text mode, but nothing to do. Not only it doesn’t do anything, but they are displayed in the text of the article (and are read by the plugin)!
I’ve searched for tutorials everywhere on the internet, but apart from the documentation, no tutorials or practical examples. So I don’t know if I’m doing something wrong or if it’s a plugin bug.
Could someone help me?
Thanks in advance, and sorry for my poor English.

My understanding is that Cloudfront and load balancing are packaged with lightsail.
