I’ve got a number of existing amazon text links on my site which I’d like to auto convert to affiliate links.
I’ve just installed the plugin, added associate IDs for UK/US. I’ve gone to tools and enabled the link converter. Will this automatically go through posts and update the links with my associates ID?

I installed the Auto Amazon Links plugin on my WordPress site. When viewing the site from a Desktop PC everything works fine, but on the mobile version it is impossible to load the product links.
I have already checked if there was an ad blocker on my cell phones, but it is evident that there is not since the other ads are shown anyway.
So the problem is with the plugin. Is there some plugin setting that prevents the links from being displayed on smartphones?

Sorry if this comes across as a stupid question, but how you create simple text links only (no pics or widgets), AND make sure they globalize using the plugin? All the interface in the plugin seems to focus on units and pictures and APIs, but I don’t need any of that. I’ve put my associates IDs in for the main English speaking store and now I just want to paste an Amazon link in and have it globalize to the local store whenever someone clicks it. But can’t seem to get it to work – always redirects to the original .com link pasted in even when not in the US. How can I get globalization to work?

If I try to apply the modification from Chrome DevTools works fine, but when I modify the style.css file it doesn’t work. To modify the file I have to try to edit the file from my hosting file editor or upload and overwrite the style.css.

However, I am constantly having issues with products that were once found no longer being found. Even when I go to the link and they are in stock, I cannot get the plugin to accept the product. I have many products that successfully stay found and don’t need adjusting. But when it becomes not found for some random reason, I find another product similar or the same brand, just a different link, try to update the url link to the product and it will still say No Product Found or it will put in a random product and I don’t want that. How can I stop that issue from happening as well? I don’t want replacement items being shown that have nothing to do with the description I’ve written for the product.

]]>I get a RangeError: Maximum call stack size exceeded error in the console when I add a widget to my theme.
I checked the error log for my site but it only points to the widget page – Request exceeded the limit of 10 internal redirects due to probable configuration error. Use ‘LimitInternalRecursion’ to increase the limit if necessary. Use ‘LogLevel debug’ to get a backtrace.
This only happens with widgets from Auto Amazon Links, the rest work fine.
I am using Auto Amazon Links Versione 5.4.2, PHP (7.2.24) and WP Versione 6.3.
Do you have any ideas on what I can check or how to fix it?

]]>The FAQ says adblockers will block the plugin and says to change the plugin directory name which I did.
It also says to add some code to a functions.php file. I’ve added that code to the functions.php file in the theme I’m using, but the name is still in the URLs like this

Does that code need to be put in a different functions.php file?
Does the amazon-auto-links.php file name need to be changed?

Is there an export/import feature so we can make it simple to move AAL config over to other projects? Would be a big timer saver. Takes a while to go thru and tweak everything in settings, templates, etc.
Please consider adding such a feature to tools or settings page if it does not yet exist.

We are able to use the sort=”raw” variable in the shortcode to display ASINs in the order they are listed asin1,asin2,asin3 but when we try to change the sort variable to sort=”random” is has no effect and the items are still displayed in the raw or original order as typed in the shortcode.
So for example we have a shortcode as follows:

My project is under development and was going well until I woke up yesterday morning to some pages being totally broken.
Some unit are broken and throwing errors on pages where they are displayed.
Example: Nursery – Amazon Discounts (online-home.ca)
I can edit the unit, access all plugins options and menus but unable to display on a page or renew cache.
I cannot add unit by category either… I cannot see anything from the usual categories.
Current Selection
There has been a critical error on this website.
I’ve deployed a brand new install with only the AAL plugins (free/pro) and it does the same thing. Same result with default themes.

When I try to update through the WordPress dashboard, I get the error “Update failed: Download failed. Not Found”.
