Hello,
I noticed when using your plugin that the admin css for your plugin is loaded on every page of the admin. This can cause issues with other plugin styles and as well wordpress core pages too. Would it be possible to conditionally load the css only on the Alt Text AI pages? There is an easy way to do this with wordpress functions:
$hook_suffix = add_options_page($menu_name, $menu_name, "edit_posts", $slug, "load_alt_text_ai_page");
add_action("admin_head-{$hook_suffix}", "load_alt_text_ai_styles");
Thanks!
Mark
]]>Can I pay for the gold plan to get alt tags for all past uploaded images and then once done cancel my account and those alt tags will remain saved in WordPress? I wont need it after I process all my images.
Also is it 1 credit per image alt text? or is it several credits per image??

WordPress 6.5 added support for AVIF, but the plugin doesn’t work with this format.
]]>Hi,
We have a site with huge number of images embedded in existing posts we want to generate alt text for.
I have used the trial to generate alt text in the media library but the alt text does not appear in posts where the image is used. Is there a way to push the new alt text into all posts where the image features automatically?
Thanks
]]>Dear Development Team,
We are currently considering the adoption of your WordPress plugin for our website to enhance accessibility by automatically populating Alt texts for images. However, before making a decision, we have some specific questions, as our website contains a significant collection of graphics and tables and primarily targets a German-speaking audience:
Thank you in advance for your support and prompt response.
Kind regards,
]]>Hi,
I’m using Phoenix Media Rename plugin and Alt Text AI plugin.
If image is updated with Alt Text AI (Alternative Text and file name) it can no longer be changed with Phoenix Media Rename. It gives me that message “The media containing directory is not writable!” if I try to rename the image with the Phoenix Media Rename plugin.
Hi!
Could I set so that the alt text is just generated by the name of the products? Do this work also for variations of a product?
]]>Well, I installed it, set it to automatically update new uploads. Went to media to choose a file to update, found the button, but it did not work! Nothing happened. So I went to check the settings, and then I got a message that I’ve run out of credit, and 25 images had been updated! So I’m now trying to find out what’s happened. I see there’s a log of changes, but rather than saying any images have been updated, I see 25 rejections, then a notice that I’ve run out of credit. Therefore, what’s going on? I didn’t upload an image, so it should not have done anything. Got to say, it does not really look good in terms of user experience. Were any images changed? Which ones?
]]>I really like the concept, but I don’t want the alt text to be generated automatically for every image. Is it possible to get alt text only as needed?
]]>I signed up for a trial.
Picked a page on my site, where i knew only ONE image didn’t have an alt tag.
Your software ran on the page. USed up 25 credits, then wrote “insufficient credits” in the alt tag of the only image on the page.
I had selected for it to ingore images, that already had an alt tag, but instead, it rewrote them, and did a bad job at that.

]]>Hey,
Thank you for your plugin. I’ve submitted the French translation a while ago. Have you seen it? I thought it might help you!
We have narrowed down an issue with image variations not generating on upload to the AltText.AI plugin, when the plugin is deactivated uploads work correctly.
When it is active, these errors are logged and image variations are not generated:

]]>Hi,
how do I generate alt texts for photos already present in woocommerce, selecting only some of them.
I haven’t found any options to update the ones I want,
perhaps directly from within the product sheet or from the media gallery.
Thank you
The plugin caused this site to crash (but not any of the 5-6 others that I have so far installed it on)
Is this something that is known and repaired? I don’t want to reinstall it until I know it is safe. I’m currently waiting for credits so I’m in no hurry ??
I like many others, are choosing to use SureCart instead of Woocommerce going forward. Please consider adding Native SureCart integration as well.
