I’m trying to install the Facebook Instant Articles feature with this plugin on my WordPress, but I’ve not been able to install it.

The Facebook notices me that URL post doesn’t have any HTTP/HTTPS protocol specifically into figure tag of attached image (the one inside of post content).

E.g.:

Hello, I’m getting this error message from Facebook in the Instant Articles section.

Media-Level Feedback No Longer Supported: The ‘data-feedback’ attribute on the ‘figure’ tag will be ignored.

Can you supply me with a little code (and instructions) to fix this or can you post an update to address this please. It would be most apprecaited! I have plugin version 0.9.1 and WordPress version 4.9.9

I’ve created a filter for the author info to pull a guest author from custom fields.

The function works but the resulting Instant Article code is garbled e.g

I’ve had a look at the code in instant_article.php around line 140 where the <address> code is but can’t work out why it’s not parsing correctly. The only way I can get it to work is replace the whole code block with

<a><?php echo esc_html($author); ?></a></address>

Any ideas and to what would cause this?

I have connected my webseite with facebook using the allfacebook instant articles plugin but unfortunatelly no articles (there are more that 10 in my feed) are recognized by Facebook and ist displayed here Tools>Production RSS Feed.

Can you help or are there similar issues known?

For a while, all the post published in Instant Articles show this notice:

I have activated a plugin on my website that shares old entries (Revive Old Post), but those that were published before installing the Instant Articles plugin, are not displayed under Instant Articles. so all looks fine except that jatpack stats are not counting posts read via facebook instant articles. Is there any option that should be enabled on site? Analytics is working just fine.

we using yor plugin at ous site and it’s really awesome.
Since the last month we started using Setka editor for blogposts, this plugin create strange structure for images, like this:

I noticed that the RSS output for slideshows are incorrectly output.

The code seems to wrap itself after the actual slideshow and so all the images in the slideshow becomes individual images and I have to manually edit in Facebook.

I’ve recently activated instant article plugin and it is being impossible to use it.

I am using plugin version 9.1 on WordPress 4.7.5. There is a query causing 100% usage, taking up to 5 minutes to finish. Does anyone have experienced that? Any clue on how this could be solved?

RSS Feed stopped working a few days ago. Tried disabling all other plugins (including cache plugins) and no success. website is CactusHugs.com

Does this plugin support multiple / manual placement IDs for audience network in instant articles? I have not found a plugin (that I know of) offers this functionality. I believe the one by Automatic auto-generates the same placement ID.

The RSS feed refuses to populate the instant article section of my page even when set at 1 page rendered in the feed. I disabled all caching plugins that may have cached any feeds and cleared it just in case. It was working before but now I have no idea what to do.

I have to following issue though:
I have some Spotify iframes on my posts, which have src, width and height, but still won’t validate on facebook.
Apparently, iframes should de grapped in this tag:

also maybe include the “margin” option?

I have no articles in my Instant Article Library. I have configured the plugin per the setup guide. I added the instant-article feed on Facebook Production RSS Feed box. I have gone back to my blog posts and made small updates to the content to generate fresh update dates and still no articles at all in my Instant Article Library. Not the empty article error I read about in other threads… just no articles at all. Thanks for your help. ??

i’m not familiar with FB Analytics tracking code and i have read the page your plugin point to but it explains HOW to incorporate the code but not where to GET IT FROM.

How can i get the tracking code? Is there an url?

And then, what i should use in the plugin:

1st version, like:

I really love this plugin as it seems to be much better organized and clutter free compared to the official plugin. Moreover, I feel the option to provide multiple placement IDs for audience network is an added plus.

However, off late, I have been facing the following issues with the plugin. I wasn’t very confident about posting about these on the forum, as I haven’t seen prompt responses from the developers (I empathize with them as they would be busy developing the plugin for better functionalities). In any case, since there are multiple issues that I am facing, I have finally put them all together over here.

(Issue – 1)
Following error comes up in IA production feed when I add FB analytics code along with Google Analytics code

For Google, I just specified the Google Tracking ID in the provided box.
For FB Analytics, I pasted the following tracking code in the “Tracking code” box

(Issue – 2)
While using the plugin on another site, and submitting the production feed for review, I got the following response from the reviewer –

Please format the Instant Article paragraphs similarly to those found in the web article. Make sure spacing is the same as web. You can use <p> tags for paragraphs.

I have also attached a screenshot sent to me by reviewer. It clearly shows that the IA is rendering my recipe article differently from the way it is being displayed on my website. And this is happening for all the recipe articles.

Previously, it was also showing similar error of unsupported class –> Unsupported Class: The <figure> element has an unsupported class value.
However, when I checked again today, I wasn’t able to reproduce that error.

Any help on this??

(Issue – 3) While publishing an article that has images as well as an embedded video, the FB post containing link to IA automatically uses the thumbnail of the video, and doesn’t give an option to choose from any of the article images (as it does for all other IA). Can this issue be fixed? As it plays an important role for the audience whether to click on the link to read further, or just to avoid the article altogether as the video thumbnail might not be as appealing.

I have several blogs in my multi-site network and I want to send articles from all these blogs to only 1 Facebook page. However on Facebook’s instant articles configuration page, there is just one field for Production RSS Feed URL. It is not possible to input all RSS Feed URLs created for my each blog separately.

Is it any possibility to combine all RSS feeds into 1 feed?
For example
https://www.domain1.com/?feed=instant_articles
https://www.domain2.com/?feed=instant_articles
https://www.domain3.com/?feed=instant_articles
will be combined into 1 general RSS feed.

or anyone have an idea on some solution?
