When I include more than one paragraph in a footnote, the text size of the second paragraph is larger. Here’s an example: https://reducing-suffering.org/is-there-suffering-in-fundamental-physics/#link_ajs-fn-id_4-459 This is true in both Chrome and Firefox.
If I explicitly include

tags around the first paragraph in a footnote, then the first paragraph also becomes larger. Example: https://reducing-suffering.org/do-video-game-characters-matter-morally/#link_ajs-fn-id_2-404
Any suggestions? ??
BTW, thanks for the plugin. I tried a few other footnote plugins, and they had even more severe problems than this bug.
Thanks for the plugin, which is performing better for me than most of its competitors. But I have a problem. A footnote like
((Regular text hotlinked text more regular text.))
Is being rendered without the “Regular text” part before the link.
I see that one of your upcoming plans is to keep the notes from trailing off the page if their width is set too wide and the page gutter too small. In the meantime, though, swapping the baseline corner from bottom left to bottom right would solve that issue, at least for my site – we have a left menu that could be temporarily obscured if the note width ran off the content. I was combing through your code but didn’t see where the div itself is being called – can you point me to where I might be able to hack this?
Hi,
Nice plugin, i had trouble making it work because, upon saving the options, it just said there were some errors. I changed your code to make it print the errors, which revealed the default padding units were using 0,8 instead of 0.8.
After that, saving the options worked. I don’t have the javascript popups yet, but i still have to do some research… Noticed a console.log() which could cause problems with users with no console in their browser (better remove that).
Thanks for the plugin!
I used the plugin, it worked fine but my footnotes are shown with bullets, not numbers at the bottom of the page. I use numbers as ‘Footnote Numbering Style’ but the footnotes comes with bullets. I even changed the style, nothing happens; bullets are shown.
Can you help me with this problem?
Thanks!
