Im trying to pass a user_id to my custom rest api route but the data-vars is not available there.

Hi guys

I have a secure REST API endpoint on a different WP site. Unauthenticated access to the REST API on that site is disabled. It’s only accessible via an application password (https://artisansweb.net/how-to-use-application-passwords-in-wordpress-for-rest-api-authentication/)

Two questions- is it possible to use a different site as the base URL? And could you add the ability to pass through a username + application password for authentication?

I am trying to use this plugin with rest api but requests still sends to ajax endpoint and also getting first post twice.

Plugin haven’t updated for a while. Is it still maintained?

Is it possible to prevent the ALM powered by the rest api to load posts on page load?

Pretty much like when you use ALM plus the preloaded addon, that prevents ALM to make an AJAX call.
