This plugin is very useful and appears to be completely reliable in 4.3.1 – I’m using a child theme of Twenty Ten. It’s pretty simple to make visual changes via CSS, perhaps a bit difficult if you’re not experienced in writing CSS code. I made a lot of visual changes, which was no big deal for me.

There are other similar plugins out there that do pretty much the same thing, but ALL of the ones I tried either required users to use the standard Simile timeline framework (i.e, Google Docs calls) or just plain out didn’t work due to Javascript conflicts with who-knows-what.

Also – a previous reviewer complained about having to suffer through the author’s photo appearing with the install – that’s gone in the current version. All in all, good work!

When I use a plugin on a customer’s website, I make a donation to that plugin’s creator because I am making money using it. I will NEVER use a plugin on a customers site if it has a picture of the creator on it. It’s not professional. For this reason I also don’t use them on my own site. I won’t use Dennis Hoppe plugins for the same reason. I’m sure you are both nice guys but I don’t want to look at you every day. And to say donating will make the pic go away is extortion.
