Goodmorning!
Is this plugin abandoned? Can you please give us a update? @andreashecht?
Kind Regards,
Thamar
I use this plugin on many websites
Can you please provide a new “Tested up to:” just so we know all is safe and well
I’d hate for it to go the way of Display Widgets through neglect.
Thank you
]]>Hi, the plugin seems not to be compatible with WPML?
]]>Hello,
I noticed that the plugin had not any update for 1 year. I am a beginner and the security of my site worries me … I would like to know if you are considering an update next?
Thank you !
Regards
I am using the plugin Post Tags and Categories for Pages, which allows not just posts but also pages to be assigned categories
But with this plugin, if a choose a category within which to show/hide posts, it only works as for posts ie it shows the widget on posts within the chosen category but doesn’t show on pages in that category.
Is this possible to get the plugin to recognise pages within categories as well as posts?
Thank you.

Please update the plugin code

]]>Hi,
As the Display Widgets plugin (from https://strategy11.com/) was removed from WordPress’ plugin directory recently I found your plugin as a replacement. However, it could not be activated:
Fatal error: Cannot redeclare dw_widgets_style() (previously declared in /home/httpd/vhosts/******/wp-content/plugins/display-widgets/display-widgets.php:754) in /home/httpd/vhosts/******/wp-content/plugins/ah-display-widgets/ah-display-widgets.php on line 767
It looks as if there is a conflict with the Display Widgets plugin. After deinstalling the latter the AH Display widgets activated nicely.
I had preferred to keep both plugins active in order to copy the settings more conveniently. Nevertheless, I am reporting this to you since more users might migrate from Display Widgets to AH Display Widgets soon.
]]>Hi,
This is an very useful plugin that I have used on many websites; but it doesn’t seem to work together with the plugin Post-tags-and-categories-for-pages. With this plugin I can assign a category to a page; this category then shows up in your widget; but when I select it, nothing happens.
So a feature request would be to have the two plugins collaborate.
Thanks,
Jos
]]>Is this a safe alternative to the original Display Widgets plugin? The UI seems identical. How is this plugin different?
]]>Hi guys, great work so far!
As the title says, it’d be great to hide/show a widget based on existing user roles as well.
Thanks!
]]>I attempted to use this plugin when I selected:
Show Widget for: Everyone
Show on checked pages
Categories +/-: Testimonials
It would not save the settings. Instead I had to enter in a Post ID to make it work.
]]>Hi Developers,
If I were to replace the old safe version of the Display Widgets plugin with your new forked version will I lose all my old display widget data that was saved? I’ve used Display Widgets on hundreds of pages, and I am wondering if I am going to have to redo the widget display on all of these pages if I install your plugin.
Thanks…D
