The plugin and the icons are very nice but loading time will be significantly longer! (up to 1.5 seconds longer than without plugin. In my case, almost twice as long). Not only the loading time of pages with the icons but also the entire website (even pages without icons). If you disable the Plugin, loading time will return to normal.

I was having trouble getting this plugin to work – it seemed like it should be working fine – all the indications were it was installed correctly – but nothing…
My interactions with the plugin author, Alexey, lasted several days just before Christmas in a constructive back and forth effort to resolve the issue.
Finally, he hit on the answer – why does the plugin button to launch Font Awesome Icons not show?
In the users settings, I had, at some point, disabled the visual editor.
Fixed!

We had been adding Font Awesome manually with some code to the editor… but with each new update of Font Awesome it was getting hard to update all our clients websites to the new CDN version of the Font Awesome code. This plugin has been rock solid in production sites (and zero slow down on any site).
Does not get any better. Clean code. We’ll implemented plugin.
PS: The ability to add font awesome icons right into the MENU labels with a drop down – now that is AWESOME!

The right and because of that great solution. But guys, marketing and promotion – bad. Your keywords are supposed to be Social Media Profiles Widget. Like that. Hope this helps someone who searches by result, not by coder’s type of mind. And for the solution – thanks one more time – just amazing, just what’s needed and supposed to be, continue the same.
