Best free Portfolio plugin, but it takes some time to load

Too bad this plugin wrecks your layout if, like Remy said, you’re not using a Bootstrap theme. If using WooThemes Canvas 5.9.3, for example, the single-item page extends beyond the boundary of the main content area of the theme. I spent a while trying to fix this with CSS, but gave up.

Carefully crafted to force bootstrap on your site even though bootstrap is awful for WP development.

This plugin will f-ck your layout if you aren’t already using bootstrap.

Otherwise it is a nice plugin that does everything they say.

Hey guys, I just updated the plugin to version 1.8. The update includes:

1. Update Bootstrap from version 2+ to 3+ (if you guys have themes with an older version of Bootstrap, maybe it’s best to stick with the 1.7 plugin version).

2. Updated the TweenMax animation engine to the latest version (there were conflicts with plugins that were using a newer version of TweenMax)

NOTE! – I re-designed the demo preview on my website ( https://bit.ly/1topl23 ) – it’s best to show the parallax style in a full width page templates (if you’re theme has such a template)

This plugin did look good but at this time it seems to have fatal quirks. After installing, the menu area has options for adding the portfolios which is great. But then it vanished. I completely uninstalled, reinstalled, and that option is back. But only for one of two admin users. And the forums here don’t seem to be getting any tlc from the dev…so I am guessing that he/she has moved on.

I hope that someone will inform me that things are better than it seems…but I’m writing this for anyone else that might waste time on it.
