]]>Greetings,
A good start on a simple yet flexible Timeline plug. In doing some testing I noticed the following.
Timeline Block -> Changelog – needs updating
Errors shown on Browser (MS Edge) page:
Warning: Undefined array key “contentBg” in /wp-content/plugins/advanced-timeline-block/templates/timeline.php on line 32
Warning: Undefined array key “dateNameBg” in /wp-content/plugins/advanced-timeline-block/templates/timeline.php on line 75
Errors shown in PHP error log:
[25-Mar-2024 17:31:07 UTC] PHP Warning: Undefined array key “dateNameColor” in /wp-content/plugins/advanced-timeline-block/templates/timeline.php on line 78
[25-Mar-2024 17:31:07 UTC] PHP Warning: Undefined array key “dateNameBg” in /wp-content/plugins/advanced-timeline-block/templates/timeline.php on line 75
WordPress 6.4.3 with PHP 8.1
Here’s hoping you will be able to work out these problems.
]]>A great plug-in, but please use SVG instead of Font Awesome. There is no need to load an icon library for a small icon and affect the performance of the website. Thank you!
]]>Hello,
I wanted to use your plugin which looks great, but infortunately, when I try to select it, I have this sentence.
If I try to add it with / it shows for a few second the block, but then this same sentence appears.
So I can’t do anything ….
The site I’m trying to create il almost new, so not much extensions installed.
Just woocommerce, Yith auction end their proteo theme
Any idea ??
Dear mr. Binsaifullah
After a long time (seven months!!!), I finally could find time to test your plugin in an staging area. I loved it, is exactly what I’m looking for, flexible, light and full of options.
But it shows errors that I don’t know how to address, as I’m almost illiterate in code:
warning: Undefined array key “contentBg” in /timeline.php on line 32
warning: Undefined array key “dateNameBg” in /timeline.php on line 75
warning: Undefined array key “dateNameColor” in /timeline.php on line 78
If it helps, I’m working on wordpress 6.4.1 and php 8.1.23.
Do you think you will be able to solve it and update the plugin?
Thank you and best regards!
]]>Hello! Thank you very much for your plugin.
I would like to customize styles (fonts and colors) to a minimum. I have removed all additional styles in order to embed the timeline more similar to my website and I’m getting these PHP warnings:
Warning: Undefined array key "contentBg" in /home/user/site.com/wp-content/plugins/advanced-timeline-block/templates/timeline.php on line 32
Warning: Undefined array key "dateNameBg" in /home/user/site.com/wp-content/plugins/advanced-timeline-block/templates/timeline.php on line 75
Warning: Undefined array key "dateNameColor" in /home/user/site.com/wp-content/plugins/advanced-timeline-block/templates/timeline.php on line 78
Is possible to set up the timeline using the colors, fonts, and sizes of the theme by default, and retain the given options for further customizations?
WordPress 6.2.2, Advanced Timeline Block 2.1.0, PHP 8.1.
Many thanks!
]]>Hello!
I liked very much your plugin and intend to try it in the next days. But I have some concerns about its “life expectancy”, as there aren’t so many installations and it is not updated.
So, my question is: do you intend to maintain this plugin in the long term? I really hope so!
Best regards
]]>Is there a way to remove fontawesome and use SVG for the icon for a more performant front end?
]]>Thank you for addressing the last issue with the date field.
The story date field is now displaying vertically.
I wish you would continue this plugin development.
]]>Thank you for developing this plugin. I’m in the process of removing my current TL to replace with your TL.
When adding content to the Story Date, the field as a single line fills towards the timeline. If you allowed a single line to fill towards the open space, it would be helpful.
Thanks again.
