I’ve tried 3 other Page displaying Widgets and found this one to be the best, however, I am having an issue in the way I’m using it.

My site doesnt have a sidebar, so things are displayed in a single center column, which possibly could be the cause of this. The page I’d like to display shows as full width, so it literally goes edge-to-edge to the width of the Theme. I’d like for it be centered, yet with a cushion around it so its not so close to the edge…how would I adjust that?

Jeremy, Great plugin. We use it often. However, I have one issue that gives me trouble, and while I could fix it with CSS, it would be cleaner if the plugin handled the issue directly (at least for us).

The issue is the More Text option. We use it to essentially link the page after a teaser excerpt. However we always want it to appear on its own line below the excerpt. Now we have to play games with the excerpt characters to get it to display where we want it. I also find you can’t just use a
tag in the box to get around that.

Is there any way to get this to work the way we’d like?

Had some questions which were never answered. Sorry to see this lack of support. I need the Thumbnail size functionality, otherwise the widgets show a lot of empty space above and below.. Do I need to look elsewhere for a better plugin? Or, how do I configure the exact size/height of the thumbnail?

I am using the contents of the Title field with “show page title” un-selected. How do I change the font size of the title since it is disproportionately large in comparison to the rest of the page.

Can I edit the Thumbnail size to show a custom size, not just the “pre-loaded” options? And if yes, where do I edit?

I tried to install this plugin under the Genesis Frame work and this plugin has conflict with several functions that are already declared in the Genesis Framework.

Specifically the functions: the_content_limit(), get_the_content_limit().

Don’t know if you are aware of this or not.

I simply prefixed your function names to prevent the naming conflict.

How can you edit the URL so that it isn’t displayed as:

https://www.mydomain.com/#advanced-featured-page-widget-1

I want to change it to:

https://www.mydomain.com/about

*note: this can’t be done in the normal location of Pages/Edit Page, as when the page is added as an Advanced-Featured-Page-Widget, it take the URL shown above.

hi, I am using a wpbakery theme that allow to configure the front page using visual composer. I can create a specific frontpage layout using this “viasual composer” but they are not widgets zone. The only way to show content on this zones is with a short code. Can I use this plugin with short codes?

When I try to activate the plugin I get the message that the function the_content_limit can’t be redeclared. Clearly because the ‘Advanced Random Post’ widget I use has the same function…

Maybe it’s a good idea to pre- or postfix the function with something unique…
