]]>After updating ACF to 5.7.6 all gallery fields were reset to text fields. After manually re-configuring them, the Allow null option is not having any effect. There should be a -Select- option on top of the field’s dropdown menu, but it doesn’t show.

I see this plugin hasn’t been updated in over 2 years. However, is there a filter that can be used to display the galleries in a descending order instead of ascending?
I was able to achieve this by changing acf-ngg-v5.php on line 373 to use array_reverse:

But if I can tap into the plugin with a filter that would be the correct approach instead of changing the plugin.

Since i don’t use albuns, i just commented the line 247:

i’m using ACF 4.4 and nextgen 2.0.74.
the function find_all_album was buried deep in
products/photocrati_nextgen/modules/ngglegacy/lib/ngg-db.php
but now its gone.

]]>Hello, before this plugin came out we have written something custom that did the same thing basically, it added a gallery field to the ACF section so we could select a gallery for posts. Now we’ve had to install this plugin as it works with latest version of NextGen Gallery. Our gallery ID’s are stored in ACF called ng_gallery. When installing this plugin, I removed our old file and created a field titled the same thing. I was hoping your plugin would read the value since I named then the same. It doesn’t preselect the chosen gallery from old posts when viewing the edit post screen, the drop down has the default ‘select’ showing. The values are saved as I can still show them on front end of site. If I reselect the gallery in the dropdown and save it, then upon reload in admin, the select box is populated with the gallery selection. So instead of going through over 500 posts and reselecting the gallery and saving, how can I do this programmatically?

Ran into an issue with the select dropdown breaking when editing a page with a single gallery select configuration. Multi gallery select worked, just an issue with single gallery select set in the field group. An array is required when in_array is invoked to check if the current item in the loop matches a selected item, resulting in a broken select dropdown and this warning:
Warning: in_array() expects parameter 2 to be array, string given in website.com/wp-content/plugins/advanced-custom-fields-nextgen-gallery-custom-field/nggallery-v4.php on line 183Line number 183 might not be exact due to my testing, but below is what I ended up with that fixes the issue. In a nutshell, things only work out if $aSelectedGalleries is an array and not a string.

Hi, I found out that after saving the draft of an article, the gallery I had chosen is not selected anymore – it only stays selected when I publish the article.
Is there any way to avoid this behaviour?

I’m working with the latest version of NextGen Gallery in combination with the Advanced Custom Fields NextGen Gallery Add-On which causes me to use following code to get fetch my gallery:

I’m a bit desperate. I’ve installed and activated the NextGEN and ACF plugins and then this add-on but the “NextGEN Gallery” option doesn’t show up in Field Type as one of options. I’m not getting any error message so I can’t even specify what may be the problem. All plugins are activated, obviously.

]]>I’ve purchased the gallery plugin for ACF, and it was working fine until today when I noticed that the function get_field(‘gallery’) returned an array of attachment IDs instead of the mutlidimensional array with all the image URLs.
Perhaps the only thing I can think of that I changed was that I disabled another plugin that had to do with .htaccess control. I’m going to dig deep into the code and see what’s wrong, but if any of you have had this problem, your help will be appreciated!
