I’m using Advanced Custom Fields: ACF Code Field plugin for my website.

Now I want to update my PHP version to 7.4 or higher and my WordPress version is 5.7.2. So if I update both the versions then ‘Advanced Custom Fields: ACF Code Field plugin’ will work or not?

found your plugin, however, the codes/hooks is no longer working in acf v5.
Tried to update the hooks to latest v5 but still not perfectly working.
do you have time to update your plugin?

This plugin looks great, however I ran into an issue. The code field doesn’t turn on when switched on and off when using ACF conditional logic. I’m using the latest version of Chrome. Thanks for your hard work.

Hello,

nice plugin, but when im using html Code i got auto
‘s in the code. And the lines dont break. So when i got a long line of code, i have a horizontal navigation bar.

Any idea how to fix that?

Backslashes are stripped out. Is there a way you could changes this as this is breaking regex?

I would also like to mix HTML and JS, can you not add the script tags?

All 3rd party scripts (forms, google analytics, tracking) all include open and close script tags, so it actually adds more work.

I’m having trouble with the installation.

The code area field appears without any configuration to the functions.php . If I do try to move the folder to my theme
and add the function code an internal 500 error crashes
the server.
Also this file does not exist.
(Make sure the path is correct to include the acf-cf7.php file)

??

In addition, after downloading the acf plugin the folder is not
named ‘acf-code_area’. do I change it to this?

I am in the process of installing the same set up on a localhost.

Hi,

I’m experiencing a bug (I think) with this plugin. It doesn’t stop me from using it, but thought I would share it with you.

If I add a code area ready to add my code to the post/page, I can’t click inside the code area to add my code to it. I have to first have to press the update button on the editor screen (with no code added) once the page reloads the code area is ready to use as normal.

Thanks for the plugin it’s great (other than this bug) ??
