We don’t have many of these plugins in the WordPress community, so thanks for contributing.

However, Im looking for one that also inserts an ad towards the middle of the page — maybe after X number of paragraphs. Do you think you can work on that in a near-future version?

For example, the new version could accept banners at the top/bottom, while the middle section accepts 250×250 square ads.
