i just installed and changed the username after that unable to re-login and reset password

Hi,

I’m using a multisite environment in WP 3.5.2 each time I try to rename a user I’m just getting:

*USERNAME* NOT changed -> This username is invalid. Please enter a valid username.

Is there any specific character that needs to be in the usernames?

I have two superadmins, “admin” and another name. Logging in as the other name, it says “You do not have sufficient permissions to access this page.” when I go to “settings”.

Hi. When I activate this plugin, the background color in admin changes – instead of pure white, it becomes yellowish off-white. When I deactivate the plugin, the background color is normal again. Could you check into this?

Also: it should not be in the “plugins” submenu (only plugin management comes there), it would make a lot more sense to put it in “Users” submenu.

Hello,

I’ve been wanting to change the admin username, because my site is getting hammered with hacking attempts. This plugin seems like an easy solution, rather than editing the database by hand, etc. However, I’m curious to know what will happen to exiting posts if I do this? Currently, admin is the only username, and I have hundreds of posts. If I use this plugin to change “admin” to something else, will the posts be deleted?

This plugin is great, but you have to add an tag because it’s impossible to find this plugin if your write “admin renam” or renamer or something good. So, rename your plugin or the associated tags please. E
