Just had Wordfence report a security vulnerability on this plugin:
I notice that it hasn’t been updated for a while. Is it still supported?
]]>Hi,
I use
WordPress 6.5.4
PHP 8.2.20
In my Blank WordPress Website with only your plugin I got:
Deprecated: strpos(): Passing null to parameter #1 ($haystack) of type string is deprecated in /usr/local/lsws/domain/html/wp-includes/functions.php on line 7288
Deprecated: str_replace(): Passing null to parameter #3 ($subject) of type array|string is deprecated in /usr/local/lsws/domain/html/wp-includes/functions.php on line 2187
Deprecated: Creation of dynamic property AdminManagementXtended::$textdomain_loaded is deprecated in /usr/local/lsws/domain/html/wp-content/plugins/admin-management-xtended/admin-management-xtended.php on line 110
Please fix ??
]]>That link is to snipboard.io as I could not see a better way to show this (but if you want to avoid it, this is what the monitoring tool is showing):
DeprecatedCreation of dynamic property AdminManagementXtended::$textdomain_loaded is deprecated-
AdminManagementXtended->__construct()
1Plugin: admin-management-xtended
I do not think this is causing any particular problems, but it is perhaps worth you knowing (deprecated as at php 8.3).
Thank you too – the plugin is great!

]]>If I manually set the post order in the post admin interface on the Dashboard, and then reload the page, the posts are in the same order as before. The manually set post order has no effect.
It also has no effect when displaying posts on the site itself.
Manual page ordering however, works fine.
How can I get the post ordering to work?
]]>Hi folks, just installed to have a play with it as it looks like a very handy plugin.
As per title, changing the publication date works a treat but if also showing “last updated” then it gets a bit messy i.e. ending up with a last updated date before the new publication date.
Not sure of the best way to handle such a situation?
Perhaps you could update both dates at the same time (I believe most people would have it set to only show last updated if the dates are different). The issue can be resolved by actually editing the post (that updates the “last updated” date) but that kinda defeats the purpose of your plugin somewhat.
Not sure how others would see this from an auditing perspective either but if they are happy changing the publication date …

]]>When I look at the page of Projects in the Jetpack Portfolio the Project Types and Project Tags aren’t editable like it suggests in the blurb for the plugin.
Is this a bug or expected?
]]>Admin Management Xtended 2.4.3 conflicts with WordPress 5.5. Disable all plugins but Admin Management Xtended and activate Twenty Twenty theme. Access the Pages panel and try to click to open the top Screen Options pull-down tab. It will not pull down. Deactivate Admin Management Xtended 2.4.3 and everything works. Please fix bugs!
]]>Hi there,

This is how it looks with the plugin deactivated -> https://prntscr.com/ry9u1l

Hi Oliver,
I’m just discovering this great plug-in that will help me to save a lot of time.
Everything’s ok but however, i’m webmaster of a website with around 150 categories. I’d like to know if there’s a way to edit one plug-in file to full enlarge the modal category or, better, to have a full screen when editing categories list.
Thanks again,
Mik
]]>Heya, heads up that this breaks elementor templates page:
../wp-admin/edit.php?post_type=elementor_library&tabs_group=library
When working with the wp-json API I noticed that altering posts does not update the modified timestamp of a post like updating the same value inside the editor would.
Could you possibly implement setting the timestamp when a post is changed with your plugin?
I need to upgrade my site to PHP version 7.2 and ran a compatibility check and got this message:
FOUND 0 ERRORS AND 1 WARNING AFFECTING 1 LINE
——————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————–
137 | WARNING | The “result” parameter for function parse_str() is missing. Passing this parameter is no longer optional. The optional nature of the parameter is deprecated since PHP 7.2
Does this mean that the plugin is not compatible with PHP version 7.2?
]]>Wondering if Custom Taxonomy on Custom Post Types will be added in the future? I’d be happy to pay for this functionality.

LOVE Admin Management Xtended.
Will you be updating to verify compatibility with WP 4.8.2?
Thank you for your answer.
When this plugin is active, searching or filtering links on the admin link page results in an error that the data sent to the server was too large.
]]>I see that this works for default wp taxonomies on custom post types as well as custom taxonomies on default post types, however I don’t see the edit buttons on custom post types with custom taxonomies.
]]>Hi,
This is the copy of the message send for evaluation
I have with 4.1 an error of display of articles.
The content of column is misplaced after update of data with admin Management extended.
The display corresponds to the ancient versions. 4.1 has not the same order to place the columns.
This makes the plugin unusable with 4.1
The display which can be seen on the banner and the video, shows a place of columns which is not the same as in 4.1 and corresponds to the bug.
Probable explanation :
The columns are managed by their nb id (position) and not by their name, then if the columns order is changed the product fails.
Best regards

]]>Thak you for this plugin.
Unfortunately I fault into an issue : if enabled the inline editing and screen properties, on click, don’t show any gui popup.
If I disable the plugin all work well.
Thak you,

Is there a snippet I can add to my functions.php file to enable this plugin to make a custom field editable? Otherwise, I cannot use this plugin. thx – Steve
]]>Hi,
I’ve registered a custom taxonomy and add the column to the posts views, but there’s no option to edit as there is with tags and categories.
Is this possible or am I being something obvious?
]]>Is it possible to change categoryes on pages?
]]>I’ve been finding the plugin quite useful. Thanks!
I may be using it wrong, but there’s an issue that means I’m probably going to stop using it.
The issue is the default time, which is noon.
I often shuffle scheduled post dates around, and they then all default to noon. That can mean that I have five or six posts all scheduled for noon.
Even if I remember to change the time when I change the date, it goes back to the default (bug).
But even without that bug, I would just as soon not have the time choice: I need to play with the date, not the time. The ideal solution would be that the plugin preserves the original time while changing the date, but with the option of changing the time, too. For me, the date is far more important than the time, and as long as it is defaulting to noon, the plugin doesn’t do the job I need.
Can this be changed? Or is there a setting I’m using wrong?
]]>Your plugin says image description can be managed in the media library but actually it is the caption field in WordPress database…can the alt and description fields be added? Thanks

Any idea ? Are custom post type supported by this plugin ?

]]>Hi, I’m using Admin Management Xtended and I like the plugin very much.
But I’m having problems with getting the post order to work. I am in Direct Input mode and I punch the numbers in to the fields it seems to register inside wordpress but when I check my blog page, the posts don’t reorder.
Any information would be helpful.
]]>Hi. I’ve used the plugin for a long time and I love it.
For a long time now, if I have even just a few spam and click “empty spam”, it takes 20 seconds or so. If I’ve been attacked and have 200 spam, it takes a massive amount of time. I can’t use my admin back-end for minutes, and my host sends me emails warning me of high CPU usage.
I deactivated all my plugins and it didn’t help. But I then made a copy of the site with no plugins, and suddenly it sped up.
So on my live site, I removed each plugin’s files completely one at a time, and I found the culprit: Admin Management Xtended.
As soon as I removed the plugin files, emptying spam takes 2 seconds, like it always used to do (I’ve got a huge database on a dedicated server).
So there’s definitely an issue somewhere with the plugin.
I want to keep using it – has anyone got any advice as to what particular function might be causing the slowdown? It might just be the way the plugin interacts with my particular codebase, so I’m prepared to make changes if I have to.
]]>Hope in the future you consider adding an option to edit/select featured post image if the active theme supports it. Would be great.
