is it compatible for latest wordpress

hi, i like your plugin and use it for every site i make now.
a minor thing i saw when viewing my admin meta info, it seems like the two language fields are mixed up. maybe i’m wrong however…

the field meta_key “locale” is set to “en_US” and
the field meta_key “admin_language: is set to “nl_NL”

my admin language is English however and my site language is Dutch (nl_NL).
so shouldn’t locale be set to nl_NL and admin_language set to en_US, as in the right fields?

I installed the plugin in wordpress 5 and I test it it works but when I uninstalled it
the language switch that exist in any user profile page in admin menu still there and not removed and still works as the plugin still installed

so please help me to fix this issue to remove all the plugin files and effects

I have read your notice on the plugin page and I understand what you meant by that. but we still need this plugin compatible with WordPress 5.0.

as of why?

WordPress default functionality changes the language of back-end but does not change front-end. Elementor is a front-end editor and it changes the language according to front-end?
But your plugin on the other hand was able to change the langue of Elementor front-end editor despite of whatever language the website was using.

but after change of WordPress 5.0 your plugin stopped working as it was before. Elementor developer team acknowledged the problem but they officially refused to solve it (They need a huge crowd of people to convince them to work on this. https://github.com/pojome/elementor/issues/2855#issuecomment-347777036)

In this case you are the only hope for me (Or developers like me who work in English and develop second language websites).

But when I activate it in wordpress 4.9.5 ( woocommerce 3.3.5 ), In front-end, Some words isn’t as languages of settings.

I have already found 3 words:

1.search placeholder of woocommerce.
2.”home” in menu
3.date

I am trying to figure out what this plugin adds to my WP back-end. Without this plugin I am already able to choose a different front-end and back-end language with the standard WP functions.

Can’t figure out what your plugin adds to this.

There is one bug in the plug in: when adding a new user, the email sent is going in the same language as the panel. For example, my website is in Portuguese and therefore my users speak Portuguese, but I want my adm panel in English. When I add a new user, the email automatically sent is going in English instead of Portuguese.

I have installed and activated the plugin “Admin Language Per User”. Then I go to user profile but I can’t find where to choose backend language. Can anyone please send me a printscreen where I find it. Thanks.

Hi, I can’t make this plugin work. I do not have any other language plugin installed and this is a fresh install.

I must make the language site match in General settings and the User profile settings in order for the backend to be in English.

If I change the language in the General WordPress settings, backend also changes.

My site is in Spanish, I want admin in English. I must set English in General settings and User profile in order for backend to be in English. If I set Spanish in General and English in User, backend is in Spanish.

Any suggestion? Thanks in advance.

Hi,

I have tried another plugin similar to yours (WP Native Dashboard), but I get some errors relative to translations:

I have a multisite installation with sites in french, spanish, …
I would like to always have the admin panel in french.

With” WP Native Dashboard”, on a site with front end in spanish and admin in french, some translations in front end appears in french…
Essentially when messages are displayed after an AJAX request (as treatment and messages translations are handled in admin).

Can you tell me if the same thing could append with your plugin?

This plugin use namespaces and require PHP 5 >= 5.3.0.

If you are using lower version (I don’t know why) please find another solution.
