If you have “Advanced Custom Fields” plugin installed, then the “Admin Column View” plugin will cause the wp-admin sidebar menu link for “Custom Fields” to lead to a 404.
With this plugin disabled everything operates as it’s supposed to. (A list view of custom fields.)
]]>Hello,
Is there a simple way to add this view to posts?
What is ” hierarchical custom post types ” I think that every post is hierarhical.
Should I add custom post type, and change every post on my site to this? How to archive that?
I am using another plugin called “User Access Management” that gives me ability to limit user’s access to certain pages. When I use it, the column view formats weird with the edit button. Any ideas?
Thank you very much!
If you e-mail me at [email protected] I can e-mail you a screenshot.
]]>After installing it works great, however, the only sub-menus that show now are “Column View” and “Add New”… and when I click on the parent menu item “Pages” I get a blank content page that only says “Whoops!”
Is there something wrong with the installation? How can I get the default “Pages” view to show the “Column View” or even the default pages view?
Other than the menu issues it works great.
Thanks!
]]>This plug-in is exactly what I would like to be able to use for my site, but it does not display or work properly with the WP version that I am running. Are there any plans for a WP 4.0/4.1 compatible release of Admin Column View?
My installation of Admin Column View only displays 1 column instead of multiple columns and that single column is cut off – only partially displayed.
]]>Would it be possible to add functionality for draging-and-dropping a page from one level to a different level? e.g. Dragging a level 3 page to become a level 1 page? And, dragging a level 2 (or 3, etc.) page from “level 1 page example one” to “level 1 page example two”? This would be a lot easier for the end-user to understand and see the overview of pages within their website, and be even easier to manage. Thanks!
]]>I installed this plugin earlier on WordPress 3.8.2 and as a result all my pages have been removed of their content.
After looking at each page’s edit screen and checking the “Last Edited” time at the bottom of the editor which were all edited at the exact same time, and comparing to my browser history for that time, it matched exactly with the time I installed and activated this plugin.
I’ve got no idea how or why this has happened, all I did since installing it was go straight to the “Pages Column View” page and click each page to check if I’d sorted any into subpages. Uninstalling the plugin hasn’t restored my pages content, and I don’t particularly want to reinstall it to check the code.
]]>There are bad link in the admin section on plugins list: https://crowdfavorite/wordpress/plugins/ (missing .com)
I think it should be this one: https://crowdfavorite.com/wordpress/plugins/

]]>Can you drag and move pages between columns? If not, then how do you reorganize the pages?
How about quick edit? where is it?
thanks!
]]>Hi!
I just create a column for show me the last post modified.
I modify a post and the column it’s empty!
I don’t suppose anyone knows of a way to make this the default for for Post, especially for Custom Post Types?
Cheers
]]>Hi,
This plugin is breaking Advanced Custom Fields submenu and replaces the ACF url to “Column view”. ACF is amost a “core” plugin and many of us cant live without it.
This is the first time this kind of “bug” occurs for me in many years if implementing plugins. ACF has one of the most stable sourcecode.
Running for this install, also WPML, Buddypress, Woocommerce in a single WP latest. Around 80 plugins active.
There must be a variable conflict.

]]>Very useful plugin for site having large number of pages and child pages. It would be nice if it remembers the last views position of page. I mean when I browse child pages and click edit, after that When I click ‘Column View’ in the sidebar, I would want to display last page view in default.
Thanks.
The great Advanced Custom Field plugin shows as first entry in the menu “Column View” where normally the entry for a new custom filed is placed. The menu item results in an 404 error.
]]>Great Plugin and I love the view for a WP Installation with a lot of pages.
Yes, there are not so much strings to be translated, but nevertheless I want do it. However you defined the plugin_textdomain as ‘admin-column-view’ but the strings called the textdomain by ‘cf-admin-column-view’.
I changed this for my installation and after translating the strings I saw that a longer string for the ‘Edit’ bouncing button on the right side shows some letters if it’s not hovered.
I hope you will find a solution to hide the whole button if the string is longer.
If the textdomain problem is solved I will send you the German localization.
Thanks
Thomas
I really love it.
Any way to use it as a default view on hierarchical CPTs?
]]>Hi Alex!
I’m testing it on several environments, and it works fine almost everywhere. In sites with WPMU It does not show the subpages.

]]>Alex, I watched your Youtube video demonstration and this is a real leap forward, compared with the current default. I had a quick idea for enabling quick edit.
You know where you have the “edit page button” bouncing on the right hand side, what if in that div you add a second button, (so not just “edit” but also “quick edit”), when selected, quick edit button would then pop into a modal? This way the admin person still has access to quick edit features without loosing their spot in the tree.
