Hi.
Can you confirm if this plug-in is still being actively supported? I’ve been a fan of this plug-in for many years. You developed the Grey colour scheme add-on plugin especially for me.
But my security measures are reporting that as it hasn’t been updated for over 2 years I should consider abandoning it. Please let me know if you are (fingers crossed!).
Thanks.

How would be the best way to either share them with others. Or would it be possible to share it with you to include in the next update?

I need to use “seashore” as the default color. How can I go about that? I have other CSS added to this color.
Thank you,

Hi there. First thing first, thanks for the plugin, it is great!
Anyway, I’ve trying to create my own custom theme by duplicating an existing one, let’s say the “flat theme” as an example, and then later I compile my custom theme colors.scss file with CodeKit app for Mac, and although I can successfully create another theme of my own when I upload it and apply it, the WP Admin Panel gets completely messed up.
I also tried to manually change every single color hex on a original colors.css file I’ve duplicated and later applied it and the same issue persists.
I’ve taken a screenshot in order to show what I mean.
here it is: https://cl.ly/image/243i1d3W0f1Q
Do you know of any other Plugin that allows us to successfully create new themes within WP admin panel? I’ve tried some with no avail.
Thanks for your attention.
]]>As I said in my review: great plugin, and I am enjoying re-learning SASS and the pleasure of having variables when dealing with color.
Re $notification-color (and ‘notification color’ in general): I did not see this variable used anywhere in the plugin files, apart from being defined in _variables.scss
And even with the WP originally provided color schemes, I don’t see the ‘notification color’ appearing anywhere on the Admin pages.
So: Where on WP Admin pages should I expect to see a ‘notification color used’? Or might this be something that, in the final 3.8 product, was ultimately not used. Thanks.
]]>It’s great plugin, but I’m need a little more.
WP Admin Bar change colors only on site.com/wp-admin/*
pages. Another site pages displaying with the default Admin Bar in black colors.
I think the plugin could support multisite scenarios, but I didnt want to risk myself testing. Can anybody confirm?
]]>I’m sure you are waiting for this plugin to be more widely adopted, but this should be the next step to allow that ??
]]>By the admin body/content area I mean the area of the admin on which the word Dashboard is sitting in the screen captures you have posted in the Screenshots section of this plugin.
It is a shade of grey and I need to change that color – some plugins print a shade of black text with that grey color as background and the contrast makes it hard to read for me.
Is this color changed in any of the plugin’s color schemes?
Thanks.
]]>Hi.
I tried to make language files(ja.po, ja.mo, .pot) and modify plugin core.
If you wouldn’t mind, please see https://github.com/tecking/admin-color-schemes/tree/prototype.
i want to use your colour schemes also in front end. i found this plugin:
https://github.com/eduardozulian/admin-bar-color
but it only works with original wordpress schemes.
can you please tell me, how to alter code of this plugin to use it also with your colours?
]]>Wish I had taken an screen shot.
In short, there is a small calendar on the Edit Post screen, to the left of Publish. The calendar icon repeats several times, about 1.5″ from left-to-right.
In addition, the border around the post body is missing.
I deactivated the plugin and the problems disappeard.
I’ll keep an eye out for an update. This is a really nice plugin.
]]>Hi,
I have used your plugin and its working nicely with v. 3.8. Liked your color schemes.
Most of the times I have to build custom admin scheme for my projects (since the recent UI changes (mp6)). And I know *.less and my theme styles are in *.less, so I was wondering if you can or would do fork of your .scss files into *.less as well.????
]]>Ok, I’ve installed and activated the plugin.
So now how do I change the admin colour scheme, and wouldn’t it be helpful for you to include this information somewhere?!
]]>Nice plugin. Noticed when you hover over a child menu item that it is the text color is the same as the background so the text is not visible. Example: Click on Appearance and then hover over any item under it Themes.
