It broke all images in our site, I’m so glad we have Updraft Plus backing up our site 24/7 every hour, otherwise I would have gotten into a total disaster.

DO NOT INSTALL THIS until the author fixes it.

Nach der Installation und Aktivierung des Plugins kann bei meinem Theme Impreza keine Auswahl der Optionen mehr getroffen werden. Erst nach Deaktivierung funktioniert es wieder. Leider sind aber nach Deaktivierung des Plugins keine Bilder in den Beitr?gen mehr sichtbar. Erst nach Aktivierung sind diese wieder zu sehen, dann funktioniert aber die Auswahlm?glichkeit bei Impreza nicht mehr. S?mtliche meiner Versuche dieses Plugin ordentlich zu l?schen scheitern, da anschlie?end alle Beitragsbilder nicht mehr ersichtlich sind. Niemand kann bisher den Fehler finden, bzw. es so deaktivieren oder l?schen, das anschlie?end wieder alles funktioniert. Schade, hatte sich sehr vielversprechend angeh?rt.

I deactivated and removed the plugin. The watermarks persisted. I added it back and disabled all the watermarks. Removed again. Uploaded the images I needed in my site, deciding to forgo watermarks entirely.

It all broke. My entire image library was a minefield of server and 404 errors that my webhost temporarily disabled my site.

I had to manually delete this plugn’s cache from my files before anything would work correctly.

Ugh. Just ugh. Half star, if I could.

Sorry to give you 1 star but the plugin brake completely the image directory of wpcasa plugin.
Two days to understand the problem, .htaccess inside uploads (two different .htaccess) and reconfigure everything.

Plugin looks great and Easy to Work.
But some images are failed to load in Admin and Front view.
I am using PHP version 5.5.30 only.
Any solution for make it work ?

After installing, new images were automatically watermarked. Adding or removing watermarks (to all images at once) was easy. Straightforward configuration. Thumbs up!

This is the best watermark plugin, he need to fix some things, but it is really nice.

When I first got this plugin going I was very happy. It did what exactly I wanted.

Unfortunately the plugin does not seem to be compatible with any images in a slider or other jquery type system. Thumbnails disappeared from the admin area, sliders on the front end refused to show, and when you tried to view an image via its image path you would get a 404 page or similar broken link page.

For the sake of the rest of the website I’ve had to remove this plugin and go back to looking for yet another watermark plugin ??

After activating and setting, links to all images on the website were broken. Only the watermark was displayed.

Deactivating the plugin returned the website to normal.

A script error Parse error: syntax error, unexpected '[' in add-watermark/add-watermark.php on line 754 is issued when trying to activate.

Update, it was a PHP version issue with my host. It works as expected. Review updated to 5 stars.

Works perfect has plenty of options and can choose what images don’t have watermarks. Doesn’t effect the images stored in the hosting.

Will be testing out on our new eCom sites.

Using HighWinds CDN, as well as ZenCache Pro plugin and/or Wordfence with Falcon Cache, so impact should not be felt.

Makes life easier if later on we need to change watermark logo branding – we simply purge cache on our site and on CDN, no need to re-upload images or be stuck with old watermark, how wonderful, thank you.

Seriously, bravo!

I hated the idea of permanently modifying all my images with a watermark. What if in the future I wanted the original, for printing or using in a different media outlet? What happened if I wanted to change the watermark text, say because I changed domain name?

This plugin is the perfect solution. I was a wee bit put off by the low number of users, but I decided to become an early adopter, and it paid off. Simple, it works fine (no bugs found yet), and nice controls on how to size the watermark relative to the image size.
