I’ve tried quite a few things in terms of WordPress website search, but Ivory Search has convinced me the most in terms of functionality. I also really like the design and customizability.
But the BEST thing about this plugin is the SUPPORT!
I have never experienced such a fast support. With many plugin providers (even big providers) you often wait a week or two, if at all. And then it all drags on until you get the next answer. Of course, you can’t develop a website like that (with all due respect to the plugin provider, who certainly has a life outside the Internet).
But this developer responded WITHIN 24 HOURS and SOLVED my problem!
My greatest respect for that.

Ivory Search is the best plugin I’ve found that meets all my needs for my eCommerce site. The best part is the support. Had an issue with the ajax search not working correctly.
The problem turned out to be a caching issue with the theme.

I am a web developer working at a technology agency in Cleveland, Ohio. Fully configurable and compatible with the most popular themes and theme builders today. Allows you to insert it anywhere on the website, even via shortcodes. It searches absolutely the entire website (including CPT and ACF), and allows you to include or exclude any location. It allows multiple appearances, and you can choose between normal or Ajax searches (with no limit on the number of results). And if that weren’t enough, it allows all kinds of configurations via CSS in its own interface. I really can’t imagine a more complete search plugin. Kudos to the developers.

Thank you for your time and effort. We know what it′s like to work hard, and you have done very well here. We use it for our local site search. Perhaps one day it could also be an API that extracts all the info from our marketplace (Realty) and feeds it through. Just a thought.
