Are there plans to patch this plugin or no? I’d like to know so I can plan accordingly.
Thanks
Problem:
The Add Custom Body Class plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the ‘add_custom_body_class’ value in versions up to, and including, 1.4.1 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with contributor-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page.
Hello,
Thanks for this awesome plugin. However every time I save a page with elementor, it strips the class and I have to go back to the regular editor and put it back in.
]]>Hi there just a heads up that 1.4 seems to break the front end of site I just updated it on. Reverting to 1.3 makes it work again.
This site is PHP 7.4 BTW
Cheers ??
]]>Dear support,
First thank you for a very useful plugin.
One thing though: the body class is not added to the Woocommerce shop page. It works in all other pages. Do you think you could fix the bug in your next release?
Thanks a million
]]>Hey,
i’ve set my website to php 8.0 but then there are some warnings, mostly on duplicate posts or move posts to trash or reverse:
First is
Warning: Attempt to read property “ID” on null …
for line 25
if ( get_post_status( $post->ID ) === 'auto-draft' ) {
and then on the “update” line:
Undefined array key “add_custom_body_class”
Line 28
update_post_meta( $post->ID, "add_custom_body_class", sanitize_text_field( $_POST[ "add_custom_body_class" ] ) );
Hello, this plugin fit perfectly what I was looking for, and appeared to work properly to fulfill my needs….except for some reason I have not found yet, the classes I enter into various pages disappear after awhile. Not just a few, but all of them. Assuming they are being written to the db, I cannot conceive of a reason for this. I’ve also verified that I’m not being sabotaged by co-workers.
Please help.
Thank you.
Is this plugin compatible with MultiSite WordPress?
]]>have a look to the end of that thread
