Hello Is the plugin still maintained? I see it hasn’t been updated in a year
]]>I’ve recently installed BuddyBoss Pro and BuddyBoss Theme and have installed the Activity Link Preview plugin. I can’t seem to get it to work. When I create a post on the timeline and paste in a link, it simply pastes the URL but doesn’t seem to make any attempt to look up the URL and acquire the preview data/image. This is the latest version of Chrome browser. When I use the Inspect feature of Chrome, it doesn’t show any errors in the browser console and no indication that anything is wrong. Is there something common that I’m overlooking with using the plugin with BuddyBoss?

]]>Hello,
How are you!!
I just want to let you know that my activity link preview is not working properly. When I copied any link from the activity updated posts and I paste it into my feed then I am getting this kind of issue on there.
Here is the screenshot:- https://prnt.sc/R-q9WkxiQyts
The preview link is not opening correctly.
Could you please check once and help me to fix this issue asap. It’s very urgent for to me fix this issue as soon as possible.
I hope you will give me a response on this rapidly.

]]>I cannot get any link from Opensea.io working, yet links from other NFT platforms do work.
All I am after is Opensea.io Preview Link to show up when someone posts a link from Opensea in the Activity feed ??
I have allowed Preview Links to show…
I have used your plugin and others as well, but none are showing the Preview Link
All I am seeing is
There was a problem generating a link preview. (In red)
To further test the issue, I went to the Buddyboss website and created a sandbox site and entered in an Opensea.io link in there as well and it also didnt work
Opensea links work on Twitter, Facebook and other non Buddypress/Buddyboss websites
Do you have any solution?
]]>your plugin adds this hook
add_action( ‘bp_activity_after_save’, ‘bp_activity_link_preview_save_link_data’, 10, 1 );
But this causes a major problem for custom activities that are added in the background eg I add an activity programitically when a user buys a product.
as they suddenly see a whitescreen with “Busted”.
]]>I’ve tried several links posting in the activity feed, my own personal one and a groups, and the link does not parse. Any ideas?
]]>while most links seem to be previewed fine, when i try to place a youtube link, the loading “circle” appears , the preview video is appeared and just below the preview the characters ” /> also appear…
I cant click the post button so it keep “loading” forever… any ideas?
if i deactivate the plugin i can post the youtube link. obviously no preview though….
]]>I’ve bought a theme for buddy press to build up a social community. I need a plugin that can display there link preview on activity page.
I’ve tried this plugin that work for default theme with buddy press. But not work on the Vikinger theme – https://odindesignthemes.com/products/vikinger
Is there any possibility to adjust theme to compatible this plugin?
Thanks for your help.
]]>Hello,
I like this plugin, but it seems there is a problem:
When a user shares a link in the ‘what’s new’-box with a longer post update , you have to click ‘read more’ to see the full post.
But when I click ‘read more’ the entire post disappears.
Latest WP/BP and BuddyX theme.
]]>Firstly this plugin does not work at all with buddypress legacy, I get the followibg error
ncaught ReferenceError: _ is not defined

Can you fix thi and make it more robust?
