Woo is installed and active, but in ALMS settings > payments it cannot be chosen

I am looking for a plugin to manage a micro university that offers 10+ courses per program. I am looking for ways to assign students to different academic programs / departments, along with functions for user dashboard for access /request for academic transcripts and school’s forms, such as tuition invoices, request for leave / transcripts / diploma certificate etc. etc. The core education, such as video streaming, assignment submission, examination, and discussion dashboard, is supported by Teams, so I do not need much back up from WP website.

Essentially I am not that looking for LMS but for university ERP, so I might not be in the right community. I’ve tested with a number of WP plugins already but none of them has given me enough customization options.

Just before moving to Moodle, I am going through one last time in WP community. Seems like your gradebook and certificate addons, along with a forms plugin may help me to resolve the issue. Obviously I do expect lots of customization, but wonder if above requirements can be handled by Academy LMS

I’ve just installed your plugin and think it’s great! One issue though:

When I access the frontend dashboard (logged in as an Administrator) and navigate to any of the following menu items:

• All Courses
• All Lessons
• Announcments

I get an error pop-up with the message ‘Request failed with status code 403’.

In addition, if I navigate to All Quizzes, I get a never-ending loading circle. The page does not load.

In contrast, all the pages load fine if I access those same pages from the backend Admin dashboard.

Can you offer some assistance please?

Hi there,

Due to several limitations of my payment system I am forced to use old-style checkout via Woocommerce shortcode [woocommerce_checkout] , rather than a block method.

And I have several permanent problems with Academy LMS when using this method:

1. A goods is sold, user enters his e-mail, but no student is created at all. I marked the goods as “Used for LMS Academy”, linked it with the appropriate course, but it does not work.
2. The option to force the new user to log in is ignored, thus after paying for a course a new user is prompted to log in rather than having access to his dashboard.

If I use block Woocommerce checkout none of the problems persist.

Can you please help me with the problems? Thank you in advance!

an made a sample course

howewre v when i click on register butt?n it fist registered then i logged out and tried to register as a different user.. this time it didnt go to the sourse page but to hte maina page.. and i cant register.. but when i view the course in fact i ‘ve registered but it didnt show me..

can you trey to register and logout then re register as a different user please?

In the Q&A section, the question is send to the author of the course if the student select another instructor in the course how can the questions be sent to that instructor instead of the author of the course?

②Confirmation of a Bug in the Question Feature

I have noticed a potential bug with the question feature. After posting a question, if I reload the page, it shows that there are zero questions. Also, the question does not appear in the admin panel.

It seems like the question might not be getting registered in the database.

I would appreciate if you could check these two points.

With the new/last version of your plugin the default page of my woocommerce store changed, instead of showing the woocommerce default page with my store yoga and accesories products, it shows LMS Academy default courses page, I resolve it by restoring to the previous version of your plugin.

Any idea why is this happening? Have you receive any other comment about this?

When a student submits an assignment, the instructors who are part of the course are unable to view the assignment on their screens.

Do your courses allow the embedding of Vimeo videos which are restricted for play to the website domain?

If so, does it track how much of the video the student has viewed and is this available in analytics or some other type of record?

Issue 1: When accessing the preview video at https://hoge.com/courses/chapter-2/, the UI of the embedded YouTube video is almost identical to that on YouTube, allowing me to change the playback speed via the gear icon.

However, after logging in and accessing the same page, a query parameter is automatically added: https://hoge.com/courses/chapter-2/?source=curriculums. In this case, the UI of the embedded video changes, and the button to adjust the playback speed is no longer displayed.

How can I enable playback speed adjustment on the logged-in version of the page?

Issue 2: On https://hoge.com/courses/chapter-2/?source=curriculums, the seek bar does not move during the initial play of the video (the cause is unknown). When I pause and then play the video again, the seek bar starts to work correctly. Is there a way to fix this issue?

I am unable to add a new instructor. They are already an admin on the site.
When I try to add a new instructor the only option I get is to put in their name/username/email/password but when I do that it says there is already someone registered with that username.

FYI we are using wordpress user accounts.

I use Kadence Theme and need ALMS to use fonts & colours as defined by the theme!

Unfortunately, when I disable “Load Academy LMS Font” it’s still not loading the theme-fonts/family “Josephine”. No caching enabled.

Can you please help, maybe need to add custom code?

I installed ALMS on a fresh dev-site and also added WooCommerce.

I have created a course & connected with a Woo-Product, but now I want to be able to streamline the purchase-process.

Currently, it requires the visitor to apply many clicks, before he finishes the purchase and gets enrolled.

I would like to replace the “Add to cart” button with a “Buy now” button, which will automatically add the product to the cart and redirects the visitor to the checkout.

How can I achieve this?

I have already tried to apply this code-snippet:

I have integrated the payment method with the Card through Stripe. After the payment is made, the order is still ?in processing” instead to be ?completed”. Any ideea what I have to do in order to have the order status ?Completed” for the payment made by card? I mention that I have eneble the function ?Automatic finish order” from Academy LMS-Settings-Payments. Also, the produst for the course is marked as virtual and ?For Academy LMS”

i made a fresh installation for testin the plugin genereates a category base for courses i think.. but it gives error (404) but when i copy the couse base name to wp default category base section the problem resolves. but i would like to use the default wp category base for post and blog. and coures category different..

later i figured that, this happens when another lms (tutor lms) plugin is active also)

is this an error or a feature? ( wpuld the same category thing happen with another plugin too ( not lms a category plugin maybe)

and another problem is : File uploading is disabled. Please use an image block and an external image URL. while adding image to the content of the lesson from add file.. ( but i can add from the media library button next to it) but it is weird..

quiz layout has problem with mobile devices..it is not mobile friendly..quiz options ,fonts ,answers..nothing is arranged..can u solve it??(have to switch to desktop version for better layout)

Hi, I am trying to create a new course, I have seen some manual on the web and a youtube video, but I can’t manage to do it.
In the COURSE BUILDER section under COURSES I can only find the option ADD NEW CURRICULUM. I have already created several LESSONS and several QUIZZES, but I can’t find how to add them to the course.

I am trying to add gist html embed using HTML Embed in lesson. While adding, it shows the notebook embedded and working. But when saving lesson and checking back, it goes away.
