On WP 3.5.1 it does not redirect 404 ??

Hi,
i just installed this plugin. But what happens in my case is ” i have removed some of the tags from my posts which already been indexed in google. When i click on that google results page, it shows nothing found page instead of redirect to home page. ” so what to do to do so ?

Google webmasters is showing a soft 404 errors when the pages are redirected.

it seems as though this plugin. 404 simple redirect
does not work correctly with bbpress users,

when a new user decides to click on their profile link. i.e picture or name
to go to their profile, they are redirected to the 404 page

would like to know if their is a exception to this or a quick fix?
and can anyone helpZ! please! urgently!

I really like the simplicity of this plug-in. It works great with bad page names, but in my case, it doesn’t work with 404 errors caused by null search results.

Firstly I’d like to say thanks for the plugin, it works better than anything else I have found.

Secondly, the system actually fails if you don’t enter a URL to forward; I just got a blank page.

I went in and manually set the URL to forward to my homepage and then it started working, so it’s not a major issue.

However the plugin says “URL to redirect

Note: If this option is left empty the plugin will redirect user to homepage.”

It doesn’t work quite like it says it does, so I thought you should know.

If it helps I’m using the latest suffusion theme as well.
