    Hi, why is register members automatically approved? i check the box for Account activation email in the email settings yet registered members is automatically approved and login into the site, i do not want it so, what do i do to stop this. i want a user to be approved by clicking on the activation email sent after registration

    This is set up on the User Role. There is a setting Registration Status under Registration Options. You would select Require Email Activation.

    The setting you’ve chosen for the email controls if the email is sent or not.

    Thanks for the feedback, i have done what you instructed, but after a user is registered an activation email is sent but even before i clicked on the email activation link, another email was sent automatically welcoming the new user.

    i was able to login without clicking on the email activation link earlier sent, WHY?

    I received an email with:

    Welcome to Fata E-Library Ebook Market!

    Your username is:[email protected]

    No other email was received. I don’t notice a way to your login page so I couldn’t test that part.

    You might want to review the settings between the role you are assigning for the registration form and the email settings. Turn of the Welcome email when initially testing.
