    Hi, I am getting a Google AMP error message:

    The attribute ‘alt’ may not appear in tag ‘span’

    .

    <span id=”swap-id6218″ alt=”” class=”colomat-swap”>

    <span id=”swap-id6218″ alt=”” class=”colomat-swap”>xyz</span></p><div id=”target-id6218″ class=”collapseomatic_content “>

    Is there anything I can do?

    first thing you can do it change the default tag from span to div in the plugin settings. you could also use the tag=”div” attribute, but changing the default tag setting would be wiser.

    alternatively, you try setting notitle=”true”

    UPDATE: We see that this would still be an issue when using swaptitles. This issue should be resolved in version 1.7.9c available form GitHub.

    Let us know if that works for you and we’ll push out the update today.
